Jon Gruden - Pro Miami on MNF???

Gruden > Cowher. You really have to have one of the defenses of the century and flawless execution on offense to win with the Cowher model/philosophy. '72/'73 Fins, '86 & '90 Giants, '85 Bears, 2000 Ravens. If your defense isn't in that class forget it.

IMO, Gruden just seems hungrier than Cowher at this point. And I can't see him taking longer to build an OL than it does to get the average kid through high school.

Regardless of who we end up with, I don't want one molecule to remain from this current FO when the dust settles. Clean slate means clean slate.

Yep. We all know what he did to Keyshawn Johnson. He basically told him, we will continue paying you if you just leave and don't come back.

There's only room for one prima donna on Gruden's team and that's him.

I'm sure people said the same thing about the 49ers last year...and oh look they're 5-1. They have Ted Ginn and Alex Smith. Our safeties and O-Line suck but those can be fixed...hope w/e QB we draft that this new coaching staff can turn him into a franchise QB.

Maybe Ross is not so dumb after all . With Harbough he would have kept Ireland around.
