I was thinking maybe we should revisit Cogs Sr's original post, now that we know what we do, for some more perspective.
He was definitely ahead of the curve with the suspension news, mentioned Martin's agent (zuckerman?) by name ranting about all the crap he was manipulating and referring to Richie time and again as "innocent" if I recall it correctly. Also he went off on PHilbin and Ireland as snakes. Now in hindsight we know he was right before anyone about the suspension, correct about the name and likely the manipulations of Martin's agent and had good reason going off on Philbin and Ireland considering one or both of them assigned Richie the task of toughening up the soft boi and then cowardly scapegoating him .
Well if Mr Incog, in his emotional rant has been right about that, asserting this is a tempest in a teapot created by Martin and his agent, just maybe he's right when he asserted that Martin is a drug abuser, put a gun to his own head and has attempted 3X to commit suicide. If any of that is even half accurate, then as the old cliche goes: "consider the source." Did drugs, coupled with a carelessness about his own life conspire to warp his perception of reality? Did drugs make see things in extremes rather than in context? Did a suicidal mindset cause Martin's frantic parents to apply whatever pressures they can while not revealing his inner demons, for the purpose of extracting their vulnerable boy from a situation most sane, straight and normal football players can handle when what they've dished out is re-served back at them?
As far as the funny dog picture, if Martin initiated sending it as a joke, rather than maliciously, then it's hard to argue that he's the equivalent of Incognito's battered wife. If he did send it as a joke and Richie replied in a VM or text in kind in response (aka "after") to that, does that mean that Incog's intent was venomous or more likely that he either didn't have the access to the web when the mood struck him or he wasn't as proficient as Martin in searching google images for that "Hallmark moment.
