Jonathan Martin getting bullied tonight

Sweet. Could happen to a nicer guy. I wonder when the locker room will start saying bad things about him....
Mommy !!!

Funny how a supposedly great QB like CP -- WITH a superior team in every way -- suddenly looks horrid w. Martin at tackle.

What would happen to people's heads in Finheaven if Tannehill had a 17 point lead w. a clearly superior team and then threw 3 picks and gave up a fumble to lose the game?

It's so funny, lol.

People need to get a clue.

From what I saw, he was OK until the 4th quarter. Then? Woof.

Cris Collinsworth was heaping praise on him earlier in the game, but hit on a nugget of truth when he said that Martin was getting beaten quickly, and that that's the one thing you can't do as a tackle.

We know, Cris. We know.

Since when is Kaepernick great? He is Michael Vick 2.0. He's gotten so used to dropping and running with the ball that he has regressed as a passer so there are stretches where he struggles to make plays. You can win a lot of games as a QB if you can outrun the defense most of the time, but pretty much every running QB I've seen besides Russell Wilson fails to progress as a passer and win the games that require passing plays to win. Which means that they tend to get worse, not better. Kaep is better than most so he will last a lot longer, but having been forced to watch him for a long time its been readily apparent that he hasn't gotten any better at actual QB'ing since his first season.

A couple of people here have been propping him up as a really good quarterback because of his metrics. I obviously disagree, but that's an old debate and one that I don't think anyone wants to rehash.

He does some things well, but I don't know how you can watch him play week in and week out and think that he is great. Some of the decisions he makes with the football are as bad as it gets. They are Tony Romoesque.

He gets a lot of people propping him up.

And plus he signed a huge contract on part w. being a "great QB."

Which he's not, by any stretch of the imagination (other than his own mind).

I was flabbergasted when I saw him introduced as a starter during the NBC player intros. I thought he was depth on that team.

Kaepernick is labeled as an upper-tier quarterback because he was a catalyst for their Super Bowl run a couple years back. NFL teams are so desperate for quarterbacks that they'll throw large sums of money at marginal talent (Alex Smith, Andy Dalton for example) just so that they have something.

It's going to be interesting how much money Tannehill would command if he took the Dolphins to the playoffs.

Some good points.
