Jonathan Martin hires David Cornwell as his representation

Please! God...if there is any justice in this world...Richie will be back with the team, Martin will be realeased, and sign with the Jets, and the 1st game of 2014 season will be NY @ Miami. And 80,000 strong will rain fury down upon the money hungry sissified turncoat, and Cameron And Dion will abuse him for 60 minutes straight, resulting in the most lopsided destruction of Gang Green in their pitiful history. And after the final whistle, we will lay poor, mistreated Jonathan Martin to rest underneath the men's room urinals.

Amen.

Edit: Figuratively speaking, of course. We don't really want Martin dead. Just really, really miserable.

It's his dad's job to teach his son to be a man and not a spineless coward. Jon Martins dad is a total failure at being a father.

Careful. You don't want to get the board admins subpoenaed.

Ok outside of our opinion of John Martin how do the Martins seem like total scumbags.

I mean that as a serious question. What should the parents be doing? So they should believe their son is a liar. Isnt a parents job above all else to look out for the welfare of their blood.

Systematically attempting to destroy the reputation and careers of multiple people in order to protect their son's financial security.

That's just deplorable.

Thats all speculation on your part. I mean how dare they believe their son if he says there is an issue. Im pretty damn sure that his family is not hurting for money with his dad being a published author many times over and his mom being a corporate lawyer for Toyota.
Measure of a good family is to be there for family. I dont know any of these people but nothing about them at this time would suggest they are scumbags. Now if people feel that Martin is one that a legitimate opinion but why would his family not look out for their son and how does doing that make them somehow worse people.

You don't hire David Cornwell if you think the NFLPA is going to take your side in this situation.
Exactly. Hiring Cornwell tells me the Martin's feel the NFLPA is going to side with Incognito. That's huge if it goes that way. It would be very interesting to see that scenario play out.

I can't help but wonder if Martin even understands the reason why he walked out.

So is Joe Philben a scumbag? I mean he didnt teach his son to not use drugs and get drunk as hell in the middle of nowhere thus causing his death. Not to mention the same son spending 6 month in jail for having non consensual sex with two drunk girls.
So is he a total failure as a father
Obviously neither statement is probably true. Im sure both parents love thier children and try to make them the best people possible.

I see you're drawing the same kind of deep line in the sand that you did swearing Wake would never successfully transition to the NFL, Quinn was worth a first round pick and better than Ginn (although it's all relative, who has been making the bigger contribution over the last few years?), Starks must be guilty in the SoBe motor incident because of a bunch of specious reasons, and of course among others, the latest being that Gibson was a bad signing was destined to be a 4th option and if the team with a coach with 6 winning seasons going on 19 and a more mediocre OC didn't want him enough to make a serious offer, then he was crap.

Well, although I do understand that some of the gratuitious racial issues incense you and why and your default is anti-Fin in general, certainlyyou're entitled to your opinion which I've observed never changes once you dig in; you're oblivious to contradictory information once you make your stand - so be it. However, IMO you're as wrong-headed in this as you've been proven to be in all the others I've cited

Since you have always been dishonest in your assement of what I have said I wont waste my time replying to them for the 100th time. Youi have never showed any integrity although I admit your closer to being truthful than you have ever beent except your idiotic stance that Im anti fin. Just because I think lowly of Ritchie Incgnito does not make me Antiphin, last I check they were both Dolphin players. You choose to believe the one dolphin player over the other one not sure how this akes me antidolphin.

People beleive what they want to believe I have seen more evidence throughout his career that IncogniIto is a scumbag. Could be wrong on this issue of course but I will always have integrity and admit Im wrong unlike your total lack of integrity when presenting my viewpoint.

If they NFLPA wasn't before .... they are now!

Based on all this new info I just dont see Martin as having a good case.

Also hell we didnt make Gibson much of a serious offer. Obviously no team in the NFL thought he was worth more than 3.75 million a year. Hell he played good so farmuch like Bess had played in some previous years before we traded him.
He was probably our second best receiver ahead of Wallace this season. St Louis was still smart to let him go with the receivers they have unfortunately for them they have Clemens at QB
