Jonathan Martin's Public Statement

Not even close but could be among the most remembered.

Sammy Smith
John beck
Eric Kumerow
Jamar Fletcher
Eddie Moore
John Avery
Billy Milner
Yatil Green

Im sure there are many more. All bigger busts

I don't think any of them match the damage done by Martin.
At least some of those were marginally productive for more than
one season.

Who on that list was productive for more than one season except maybe Kumerow

I said "marginally" productive. I would say Sammie Smith with three seasons, almost 2000 yards and
16 TDs is less of a bust than Martin. J Fletcher played for MIA three seasons, and went on to have an
eight year career in the NFL. Kumerow had three seasons with MIA and five sacks....Avery had four TDs
in two seasons. Yatil Green was due to injury. I don't consider a player that has some bad breaks a
bust. And none of them subjected the club to the distractions and negative publicity that Martin
has. Off your list, I'll give you Beck, Milner and Moore as bigger busts based on stats alone, but
none of them beats Martin.

Unbelievable, he's smiling as if he likes the attention.

I really wonder what our society has come to, when you have that many reporters going to this.

This one takes the bag, a player that has been unproductive, then tries to bring the whole organization down, when he's dishing it out too...?

Can't really say Martin's been unproductive, as he's started every game he's
ever played in the NFL.....But he's still a bust in terms of the damage done
to the team, and the fact that he willfully quit after less than 1.5 season.

Okay, I understand your logic and accept it.

Get rid of the guy.

And if Martin had stood up there and cried you guys would have a problem with that too.

Wrong, that would show emotion and redemption for forgiveness and took me a millisecond to reply to your doubting Thomas remark.

I don't care how long it took your narrow mind to come up with a reply. With people like you Martin is damned if he does damned if he doesn't keep condemning Martin before the investigation runs it's course.

You're seriously defending this guy??? Guy got up and quit on this team because he couldn't handle a little hazing. My God, how many guys before him have been hazed yet are still giving their all in the league? The guy is spineless and is clearly using all of this as a money grab. Whether an "investigation" or not proves anything, he'll always be known as a quitter. Good luck trying to find another job in the NFL with that under your belt!

I am giving him the benefit of the doubt because I have said for a long time that this organization is toxic! I will wait to see what the investigation uncovers because frankly I wouldn't put anything past the likes of Incognito. If the investigation says Martin was wrong then good for the Dolphins as a franchise. However I think this investigation will uncover serious issues internally and most of the fans will decide not to believe it. Just like the fans in Happy Valley if they couldn't place blame on Paterno for turning a blind eye to rape I doubt the majority of the Dolphin fans will cast blame of Philbin.
