Jones, Bell Likely Starters For Opener

I prefer Lance the Chance over Yeremiah, but hey, what do I know.

P.S. It seems like Muschamp is the unofficial "Safeties Coach".
 
I'm excited with Yeremiah. He's played better than Lance so far. Hopefully Lance can get the system worked out and if needed, can step in and start later on.

I'm actually surprised that Saban has named the starting safeties for the opener already. A lot of people around here have been hoping for Schulters and Bell. I personally have been rooting for Schulters and Jones because I feel they have the most experience of all the safeties we have and that's why we brought them in here. I'm honestly a bit surprised that Schulters isn't in the starting lineup, I realize that, that will most likely change once he learns the system better and even though the starters for the opener seem to be decided... I wouldn't count out Schulters/Jones or even Schulters/Bell in the future.
 
Bell has played pretty good...especially in run support. But he did get lost on that big play for a TD last game (The one that got negated by a flag)
 
Nublar, what the hell is that in your avatar? Are you like in charge of marketing for Pirates of the Caribbean or something? I thought that Ricky avatar was like religiously etched in there!
 
I thought Bell nearly played himself out of the lineup against the Bucs. He had p!ss poor technique on a few occasions, including the Galloway TD pass that got called back by holding, and also on a Cadillac run play where Bell literally cut Crowder off and then got his tackle broken where he could have helped Crowder contain and still gotten Caddy down at the LOS.
