If this article by hyde is the truth... then in my mind the guy committed the ultimate sin. I love jones, and what he has done for this team, but to quit on your team bc your feelings are hurt is a big no go. Jones has not been himself since hurting and returning from his reinjured shoulder. he has not played well period. no matter how you feel as a player you have to be about the team. As a player in HS, and at the D1 level and now as a Head High school coach I understand the decision by the staff, and I understand from the player aspect (being pissed about losing playing time). BUT YOU NEVER QUIT ON YOUR TEAM. if you cant go that's one thing, but come on....
Its a games about trust. As a coach if I cant trust you... you don't play. As a player if I cant trust you... I don't want to be around you, or play beside you.

people talk down Gase and the staff regarding Jones, but I feel this was the right decision, and if reshad was is in lets say …… NE, Bill would cut him for this.

What are your thoughts?

Given Jones' history, I'll be surprised if it is anything other than an injury. I'm sure Gase knows exactly what it is all about, and frankly, I'm glad he's not shoveling it out to the media piranhas.

Jones gave his all to the team over the years. If he is struggling, he deserves some time to think about his future.
He might have hurt himself again and just packed it in.

We will know either tomorow or Tuesday what's going on doesn't really matter a pissed off Rodgers vs our defense is going to be just sad

Sounds legit to me, cant see Hyde writing this as fact without it being backup by reliable sources. Thats messed up. My guess is Jones will realize everyone is carrying on despite his passive tantrum and figure out the right thing to do...apologize and get back to work

Minkah will be starting next to McDonald next year I think. Unfortunately, I wish it would be Jones he would be playing next to.

we played a rookie QB today with very little, actually nothing at all in the way of playmakers on offense so its hard to give full credit to the defense. Jones is a great player and it will suck to see him go but at least we have a younger and cheaper playmaker we can replace him with if that is actually the future.
