Think he has a shot? Id like to see Roy comeback and win, then retire. He never really seemed to be challenged much throughout his career, now his legacy is going to be tested. He loses and I dont think people view him the same ever again.
Being in Korea I won't be able to see this fight at all probaly, if I do it will already be over and I will know who won. Grrr. Havent seen a good fight in like a year now. Jonesin man.

I think he will lose. I have never seen anything like the last Tarver Jones fight when he answered the refs call for questions. Funny.

this fight shouldn't effect his legacy. he was on top for too long. he's past his prime now. he's expected to lose. hopefully roy can pull it off but i wouldn't bet on it. coming back to light heavyweight after he beat ruiz ruined him.

This is an exciting fight. My heart says Roy Jones but my mind says Antonio Tarver but on this one I'm going against how I usually pick and I'm going with my heart. I have the funniest feeling in the world that Roy Jones is going to win this fight (and I hope he does). I hope Roy Jones comes out and punks Tarver and then punks Glen Johnson and gets his credibility back. It's as simple as this, if Jones loses it's a wrap on him, HE'S DONE. I think he knows it and I think Saturday night he is going to shine one more time. Go Roy!

Roy Jones!!!! hes gonna win it. least like my heart hopes so. Im going to the fight tomorrow. first boxin match. im gonna get some pictures and post em when i get a chance

Nappy man your in for a treat. I went to Trinidad and Mayorga at the Garden last October and it was one of the greatest sporting events I have been too. Have a good time brother, if the fight lives up to the hype your gonna have one hell of a memory. Go Roy Jones!

Dude, you're in for the night of your life. Nothing like it.

Heres my thoughts on the fight:

Tarver is a very good fighter. hes got a strong chen. he hits hard. and he extremely quick. i never thought he was very quick, but he put some combos on Jones that prolly rivaled jones hand speed. hes a southpaw....basically hes a damn good fight.

Roy actually looked good tonight when he threw punches...he looked quicker than his last couple fights, he was in great shape, and he rocked Tarver a couple times in rounds 4 and 5......and up till that point i had Tarver up 3-0. so after the 4th and 5th it was 3-2 Tarver.

Well, Roy totally stopped throwing punches. he would just dance around, everyonce in a while throw a jab in there, get up agaisnt the rops, and let tarver pound on him. it seemed like roys game plan was to wear Tarver out by letting him pound him on the ropes while doing little damage...well Tarver did some damage, and in round i think it was 8 or 9, Tarver would of definitly knocked jones out if tarver had not almost fell completely out of the ring. in the end, i scored it 9 rounds to 3 in favor of Tarver.

I honestly believe Roy was scared of Tarvers punching power. cause Roy would not throw any counter punches all night cause he was afraid of leaving himself open for Tarvers power.

Roy needs to retire. he should of retired after he beat John Ruiz, but unfortunatly he hung on for 3 fights to long.....

anyways, it was a great time, great atmosphere, awsome undercard bouts....just a great time. i would definitly recommed a boxing match live for boxing fans....

here is some pictures...not many cause i didnt think to take em really, i was to excited.

awesome, havent been able to see a fight live hope to sometime in the near future.

Roy Jones is over with. Sad night for Boxing. I'd rather see Roy Jones fight again then Tarver but Tarver has earned his right for a big fight!

I knew this would happen. Jones never took a big punch until recently and has gone down hill since. Needs to retire. And hes one of my all-time favorite fighters.
