Jones takes shot at Favre

I was just about to post this article. I'm sure he's going to get blasted by the Favre fans that litter the media like vultures on diseased corpse but he's absolutely right.
 
Only thing is their back up sucks too, wow could this have turned out any better for us?
 
Can't beleive he had his own special office in the locker room. In every way, Favre is the anti-Pennington!
 
Man the Jests really are throwing Favre under the bus. I was reading a column by Jason Whitlock who called Favre the "White T.O."
 
I hope he retires and then decides to return mid June and Godell forces the Jets to take him back.
 
10 carries with 23 yds didn't help much either.
 
Some people just done know when their time is up and Farve is just one of those guys. The guy can't handle the game physically anymore and has left the game on a bad note, at least for the next 7 years in the eyes of the fans.
 
I thought diva like behavior in the NFL was only displayed by WR's & CB's?

Maybe Favre can go to Cleveland and teach Brady Quinn the few things he doesn't know.
 
I sincerely hope that Farve comes back for another year. After all they gave up 2 draft picks for him and he owes it to them.
 
I've always liked Brett Favre. He was always one of those players that was worth tuning in to watch because you never really knew what might happen. He might throw 3 interceptions and then single-handedly win the game by himself, all in the same game.

But, I hate the way most of the media has deified him over the years. The amount of time ESPN spent this summer hanging on his every move (will he un-retire? will he play for the Packers? where is he going? what color underwear is he wearing? etc.) was completely embarrassing. I have a felling that Favre's fanboys in the press are in complete shock and denial that his teamates are basically comming out and saying "You know what, we really don't give a damn if he comes back or not. He sucked down the stretch". I'm sure Tony Kornhole, Chris Berman, and the rest of those guys are going to start making every excuse imaginable for Favre and start ripping the Jets for not retiring his number during the last game. I forget who it was but I already heard somebody on ESPN blaming Eric Mangina for Thomas Jones's comments.

Where was Jones with his treasonistic comments the day you guys held him to 23 rushing yards? Does he get a free pass for losing that game for the Jets?
I mean seriously, who does this guy think he is? I'm not one to worship at Favre's altar or anything, but the Jets were nobodies when Pennington was there, he comes in and turns the team around, and this is what he gets?
