Jordan Cameron

Clay to fins is a must now, get the extension done or match any offer, can't open another hole where we have some talent

Yeah they can have him for that price. Short term contract but way too rich for the risk/reward factor. I think this just falls in line with the thinking that Clay will be back.

Couldn't he have held out just a little longer so we could use him as leverage with Clay? Ugh.

WOW no wonder he didn't sign here. Thats lools to be an insane contract. Curious as to the particulars.

i am just speculating.... but maybe miami mentioned too him to go elsewhere due to contract talks with clay.... we might be settling there???

LOL - like I said yesterday we have the room for Clay if Wallace restructures and Ellerbe goes away

Well that's thoughtful of Miami, but not very savvy unless we already have Clay's ink on a contract extension. Which I think is going to be announced very soon.

The beautiful thing about Clay, is he's not one dimensional. He does everything WELL in my book. Blocks/Hands/Sneaky Quick. I'm praying we get him back.....at a reasonable 5 or 6. Gotta have $$$ for the Draft!!!

RapSheet: Jordan Cameron done w/ Cleveland, 2 yrs $15M, source says #Browns

ROTOWORLD:

Browns re-signed TE Jordan Cameron to a two-year, $15 million contract.
The Browns decided not to franchise tag Cameron, and they've been rewarded with a reasonable two-year deal. With Josh Gordon suspended indefinitely, Cameron is easily the Browns' most talented pass catcher, but he has a troubling concussion history. As it is, the Browns were not going to be a better team by letting Cameron walk, and they've now made a smart move in a free-agency period where they've been very quiet. The Browns' quarterback situation is an absolute mess, but Cameron is firmly on the TE1 radar for 2015.
