Another fine product of our public school system. If a kid plays good sports he can slide right through.
 
A top 3 pick that we traded up for. Imaging the players if we traded down with that pick. So any holes could have been filled with good later 1st and 2,3 round picks with a decent GM.
Any casual fan of football could have done better than Ireland with all the resources he had.
He should have been traded before this years draft. That is on Hickey. They should have known, or maybe he has good ethics and didn't want to trade this defective bum and sully his reputation,
The Fins should just cut him now.

It's too easy to pile on the kid now. He will play in 10 games. Let's judge what he does. If he's not an impact player at the end of the year then we can throw rocks at him. Chill, let him come back, evaluate later. It's NOT looking good , so far but I still think it will turn out allright.

Too easy to pile on? Are you kidding? The handful of times he's been on the field he's done nothing (remember the Andrew luck love tap?)

Add to that that he's a habitual drug user and he's taking up a roster spot she someone who could be contributing to the team. Look at it this way: there is someone out there without a job because the dolphins are keeping this scumbag on the roster.

He's a bust and an asshole. Time to cut and run.
 
I respect your opinion and your right to feel that way. We're in a tough spot with Jordon. Massive investment and it's just to early to give up imo. We're all pissed but sometimes you've got to play things out.

Considering it was Ireland drafting I can't help but think the two picks we gave for him would have been wasted in some other way anyway. He would have just drafted two more players who got cut.

He's made a few great plays, he has not "won a game for us" that is stretching his achievements.
By definition, no one would want to over react, but reacting harshly to this is warranted. What a complete waste of two picks so far. To think what we could have had instead (Year after Year) warrants a strong reaction. It been years now, I've turned and learned to say, "how could they screw it up any worse" and they continually find a way. There is a reason the Miami Fan Base is getting crusty. They are all old fans. There has not been a "significant" influx of fans in recent years. And there is no reason for there to be. No one would choose to be a fan right now if you were just starting to watch football, unless you liked Dolphins, The City of Miami or History.

I know.....during that draft I was psyched thinking "YES.....now we take Lane Johnson" and my buddy (Eagles fan) was pissed too thinking we jumped the Eagles to take to take Johnson......When it was announced we took Jordan I gotta say it felt like the draft when we took Ted Ginn (and his family). My buddy laughed and said "Chip Kelly played the Dolphins....now we take Johnson, the BPA & a player of need...how dumb is your FO not to draft a LT they need and move up take a defensive player they really don't need with a pre-existing injury who won't even be able to play day one and to trade up to #3 to do it??? Not even the Jets are that stupid! HAHAHA!!"

Was pissed at him then but turns out he was 100% correct!
