Jordan on Si.com top 10

He's on my top 10 list of players who will play 12 games this year.

Dion is noticably bigger. He is absolutely huge and now listed at 275 lbs - he was only 248lbs at the Combine last year. Where we thought of him as a bit of a Jason Taylor clone re size/athleticism/position when he was drafted, it is significant to note that he is now 31 lbs heavier than JT in his prime. It will be interesting to see if his speed is diminished in any way with the increased mass.
JT delivered on the field with incredible strength for his size. It will be interesting to see what Dion can do.

If true, that's way too much weight to add.

Man... I know a 4 game suspension isn't the worst thing in the world but a healthy/stronger/heavier Dion Jordan is one of the Dolphins storylines I'm looking forward to the most. Not having him against the Pats in week 1 is a bummer.

i thought that was interesting til i saw on the same site and maybe the same author even buffalo as a playoff pick team this year...

:rolleyes2:

Im not holding out hope for jordan he isnt making headlines in practice like he should be. Vernon is beating albert in practice but when jordan gets a chance he seems to be handled. Vernon strikes me as the more dedicated guy just my observation

Thats nice to see Dion get some love. But he is going to have to get on the field and produce. So far I am disappointed. Very little production last year due to injury and late start and this year a 4 game suspension to start the season. Not too good.

Don't write him off Nick - he's a work in progress. You're right, OV is looking very good and seems set for further improvement, but Dion is having his moments too. It's great to have multiple pass rush development prospects emerging. I expect Dion to make an impact when he can get on the field. I saw him at Training Camp and the extra size is quite noticable. Last year he had a big frame but now he's massive. I wouldn't be surprised if he continued to get bigger over the years. He's still very young.

Did he still have the speed?

You didn't hear about him reading the **** out of a screen pass and picking it off?

More often than not, if you're hearing about a player a lot in training camp, it's because they keep messing up. I have barely heard Hartline's name in training camp, yet he's still the most consistent receiver we have.
