I want to see everyone's opinion on this kid. Jordan Palmer has pretty good stats, a huge arm, tall at 6'5, and he is pretty accurate completing atleast 65.6 percent of his passes. He does have quite a few INT's. I saw the game he had against UAB, and he looked pretty good. Granted, UAB is absolute trash, but he still looks like he has NFL potential.

But what does everyone think about drafting him in the 2nd or 3rd round if he happens to be there?

I'm looking at our Free Agents, and I see Cleo Lemon. I don't see him coming back next year. And though Joey is improving every week, I'm not sure if Joey Harrington is a lock to stay next year [I can see Saban trying to trade him in the offseason for a draft pick unless Joey lights it up in the next 7 games].

Oh, but I don't want to draft Jordan Palmer until he cuts that hair. :lol: That caveman image looks bad on you Jordan, cut it. lol
 
INT's are a by-product of Mike Prices vertical stretch offense.

I say hes a 3rd guy.
 
I live in el paso so I can give some insight on him. He gets alot of the blame as do most qbs for their losses but it does seem that when the team is down he is worse. He does have potential but I would say very rough potential and if hurried he can make plays but more often then not does something he is not supposed to. When he is on he is on though, and can be an absolute threat. He has made some dumb mistakes in big games though because he is not given adequate time. I'd say 5-7th round maybe.
 
I think he is getting attention mainly because he is Carson Palmer's brother. I think UTEP's system is similar to teams like Hawaii, BYU, Texas Tech, that emphasize the passing game, and try to run up a lot of points....but you put a good defense aganst UTEP and Palmer is pretty average.
