I will say this... his presence was felt immediately. He stepped on the field and bam, sack. But taking off the glasses for a minute, let's not forget he's part of a rotation that wore down the OL. His problem has always been "motor". So, playing behind Suh means he only has to play limited snaps and can maximize his effort to look all world. Let him start and let Suh sub in and let's compare results. I was disappointed in Suh yesterday, but I had to remind myself the Skins do have some talent on the OL. It just gets forgotten with their record.
On another note, I can't say I'll be looking forward to the next game Dan Fouts calls. I don't know who is more bias, him or Collinsworth. Only Fouts' bias isn't with rooting for "his" team, he enjoys rooting against the "other" team. The only thing he said yesterday that shocked me was when he said "every Skins' OL is holding on every play and it's not getting called"....
WELCOME to our NEW problem..... we have so much talent on D now we are not going to get holding calls against the OL. This is a new development for us. As our talent level has raised on DL, now the level of execution must raise even higher. Our "normal calls" have elevated. Get used to a new double standard for us this year. This is part of the Suh effect.
