At least for 1 game he lived up to expectations.
He was a force out there today.
Sack, caused safety, tipped pass, a lot of pressure on the Denver QB and tackles for loss.
He has been playing better lately.
Hopefully it all has finally clicked in.
Game ball to him!
 
This is only his 3rd year so he's under contract for another year unless I'm totally wrong

Phillips finally played consistently good today. Keep it up big fella!
 
He looked great today. Hopefully he can keep this up. Parker got blanketed by a backup CB. He truly sucks. Hopefully that draft won't go to waste if Phillips plays this well from here on out
 
Jordan Phillips actually showing up for his 2/3rd good game this year, it’s good to see. Like I said in the game thread, this past draft is turning out to be a solid one for the defensive side of the ball, namely DT. With Suh, Godchaux, Taylor, maybe Phillips (if he was more consistent), I think we are solid at the DT position for a while.
 
I hope he continues to play like he did today consistently. The team needs Phillips, Godchaux, Harris and Vince Taylor to continue to improve. Those guys need to be the building blocks for the defensive line going into the future. Suh may be around for another year or two while Wake may only be around for one more year. The Dolphins need draft another DE and move on from Branch in 2019.
