We'll see. People change, they grow up, let's hope he's at that point now. He seems more mature but he has to produce now.

There's a lot of good stuff in that article. He has been drug free for two years and the reason for his diluted sample last year was because he didn't know he wasn't supposed to drink alcohol and tried to flush it from his system.
Also...
Since coming to Empower, Jordan has lost 12 to 13 pounds of fat, Azim said, dropping to a little under 270 pounds on his 6-foot-6 frame. His 8-hour weekday shifts include not only two workouts and physical therapy, but reading and doing a good deed a day – part of a program designed to ignite other positive actions and help Jordan continue to figure out who he is as a person.

Just glad it's coming to a conclusion one way or another soon...

Dion Jordan tells USA Today he will apply for reinstatement Wednesday. His camp believes he has done everything asked of him to be reinstated

Jordan gets cut in the first round of cuts in August

I'm stoked that he is coming back. I think there is a better chance than people realize for him to make an impact.

Can we talk about how terrible this article starts, though?

Drafted in the third round by the Miami Dolphns, then suspended for a year for violating the NFL substance abuse polcy, Dion Jordan has been on a journey of self discovery which he shares with USA TODAY. USA TODAY Sports

I didn't realize he had such a tough life before coming here. Explains some of his problems. I feel better knowing someone like Gase is leading this team instead of Philbin. He just seems like he can connect at a human level with someone like Jordan.

It's very easy to destroy your body and very difficult to build it back up again. If he gets reinstated and gets into the building we'll know pretty soon how long he's been at this workout routine. Watching that video it doesn't seem like very long.

Hey it's Tony Sparano's favorite workout .

Not only could we really use help at OLB especially after the last round of Koa Misi crap, but this as well:

Jordan's suspension plays games with his contract, entering a legal term where the contract is said to have "tolled," which is essentially making it so the 2015 season did not happen, and keeping him in the third year of the contract. That would mean that Jordan's salary cap hit from 2015 - which was not applied due to his being suspended for the year - would become his salary cap hit in 2016 ($5.36 million), with his $3.22 million hit moving to 2017. (To further explain, the salary cap pro-rate still counted in 2015, which accounted for a $3.07 million cap number for the Dolphins, but no salary counts, and in 2017, because the signing bonus was already accounted for over the original four-years of the contract, there would be no signing bonus pro-rated amount in the final season of his contract, which is why his cap number goes down in 2017, while his salary and roster bonus increase.) Miami could elect to cut or trade Jordan once he is reinstated, or they could keep him, looking to find a role for a player who could still have potential, or, cynically, they could hold on to him, see if he fails another drug test, and then gain back the entire salary cap hit again.

So Dion Jordan should be back for training camp. Dolphins have lots of pass rushers -- Wake, Williams, Jones, Branch, Jordan, McCain, Fede

... Dolphins have said Jordan would be welcomed back if reinstated. Would join crowded DE group with Wake, Williams, Branch, Jones.

Jordan's versatility is what will separate him from the group. His ability to play OLB should help. Dion's problem right now is being behind in the playbook and possibly his football conditioning.

I huge question no one is asking, why did he wait so long to apply for reinstatement? He could have applied over a month ago, so why the wait?
