Josh Cribbs maybe available for trade??

i think he would cost too much, the last couple of weeks has raised his value exponentially.

MH already said he`s in talks with his agent, but he doesn`t know if their on the same page for compensation. It would be something to keep an eye on but not really a big priority.

I'd rather pay Ronnie to stay. He has experience with the wildcat, and despite what some people think, is a good running back. A real WR is a bigger need, and return men are not necessarily hard to find. Even Turd Ginn is respectable at it.

It would be a luxery pickup, don't get me wrong I think he's the man when it comes to the return game and all I don't know much about his recieving skills. I don't see the trifecta putting out alot to aquire him.

Wasnt there a report that prior to the Trade Deadline this Oct that Parcells inquired of him? I believe so. I wouldn't be surprised if MIA did inquire again. And I don't believe its necessarily a luxury pick up either.

Recently it was reported that what Parcells is actually interested WR-wise is a speedster/quick guy that can make big plays. All of a sudden they signed a quicker Bess clone.

Looks like if Parcells is interested in another supplement to the WR corps. I mean, if you look at the present WR corps, we don't have a backup or competition speedster to Ginn. We merely have 4 possession guys, where it should be at least 2 speedsters and 3 possession guys.

Well, maybe that is what Parcells meant by wanting a speedster/quick guy that can make big plays.

If he packaged say a 3rd or 4th round pick with say a Thigpen or Pat White...MIA would have a player that fits that bill. He'd also be the fulltime KR/PR and Ginn Jr and him would split snaps at the deep threat.

That would leave us with a corps of:

Possession receiver: Hartline/Camarillo or Turner
Slot receiver: Bess or Grice-Mullen
Deep threat: Ginn Jr/Cribbs

A trade like that would also free up Thigpen or White to be the #3 QB and enable MIA to re-sign Pennington to be Henne's backup.

ever notice how return guys have a few good seasons then disappear ?

Cribbs is so much more than youre average return guy.

Cribbs is a PLAYMAKER. Look up playmaker in the dictionary, a picture of Cribbs will be found.

Josh Cribbs is everything we wanted Pat White to be. He'll he is everything we wanted Ginn to be in a returner and he is a better receiver than Ginn too.

Definately worth taking a look at. Hell we already have. He will be difficult to get though during the offseason. He isnt going to play for the Browns unless they pay him. They really arent wanting to trade him either. There is still a decent chance he and his agent come to terms with Cleveland, but if they dont, he will be more and more available as the season draws closer. The longer it takes them to work out a new contract, the lower his pricetag will get because Im sure he will start talking holdout.

Its possible they give him a new contract. Its possibly they trade him before the draft if they get a great deal for him. But, if they dont do one of those, holdout talk will start and his price will get lower.

We should be all over that. Having him as a WR on 3rd downs will open up so much underneath for Bess and Co. Especially if we get a legit #1 receiver out there with them too.

Cribbs will also be a real wildcat for us and give us the advantage we have always wanted in the return game.

WV, this is the first post I've actually agreed with you. Get CRIBBS!!!

I would trade him straight up for ginn... he would be a great addition, he is a playmaker...

cribs was offered 1.4m/yr 6 yr deal and he was offended. He's probably worth 2x that much. How much is porter, gibril wilson being paid?
