Josh Reed

I would have no problem at all seeing Reed in Aqua...Even if he didnt workout as a #3 WR, we still have Derrius Thompson who looked much better last year then the previous year.

No it's just that Price is a very good #2 when you send him deep. Reed isn't that kind of WR. He's a very good #3 when he runs plays that he has room to get YAC not deep balls. Both are missused right now.

The Falcons send Price deep all the time he just can't get open.. Its no surprise that the Falcons have drafted a WR (Jenkins, White) in the 1st round just a year after signing Price to a long deal.. They got shafted by the Bills into paying #1 money and compensation for a 2/3 WR...

2003 64 838 3tds
2004 45 578 3tds

Those are awful #'s...

He's just a #2 is all he is. He can't beat double coverage, especially in a WCO.

I find it hard to believe that a team would be sold on a rookie reciever in only a weekend. Also, sure Reed has had some injury problems but they would be silly to release him with a year left on his contract of only $855k and take a cap hit of $400k.

Well I'm not questioning that it's stupid on the Bills part, but it could happen and hopefully it does. Josh Reed is a good receiver he just had to be used properly.

Hakim has speed, but he drops far too many passes.

Josh Reed lacks great speed, but he's as sure handed as they come and is great as a runner after the catch. He was a running back early in his college career before moving to receiver, and he ran after the catch like a running back.

I do not doubt that Nick Saban may look into bringing him to Miami if he is released by the Bills.

Are you kidding me sure handed as they come. I live right near Buffalo so I see all the games and he drops tons of balls. I have been to a couple of games where he is wide open and drops an easy pass. I would say that his best quality is that he can get open, but he has serious problems hanging onto the pigskin.

Finally, somebody who sees how foolish this thread is. :)

A) Reed's not going anywhere. Some of you are reading too much into what a finfan heard from 1 bills FAN ? It's his contract year. He'll have to pick it up just like Price did.

B) Who's sold on Parrish? Again, 1 guy says something and then homers generalize and say bills fans are sold on him?

You guys over react like Robin "Holy Dolphin Batman!!! A finfans cousins brother's bills fan friend said, Reed might be cut."

No wonder why Batman wanted Batgirl for a partner. At least she was hot.

Josh reed sucks monkey balls!

And yes Roscoe is tearing the shizzy up in mini camp! Goodluck to your db's trying to contain two 4.3 speed demons and Eric Moulds! :cooldude:

I dont know if the bills are going to release him or not. But he was our number 3 receiver last year evans was our #2 so we didnt use him as a #2 last season like some people think. Also he is anything but sure handed he has dropped countless balls these past two seasons.

reed reminded me of wayne chrebet in college...not the greatest speed, not the greatest size, nothing intimidating at all, but one of those guys who will work hard on every down and get the job done. not sure what happened...perhaps the money went to his head, or maybe as previously stated, the bills haven't used him right.

If he's cut, I think Saban will go after him and he could very well end up our #3 or #4 Wide Receiver come this season.
