Josh Rosen Plays Vs Jaguars

If Rosen has looked better you go with him.

It's like the earlier conversations on here before PS started and fans wanted to see Rosen regardless. The counter was the team would see a young guy unfairly start over the better vet. Well, IMO the young guy looks just as good if not better than the vet.

Don't think there would be any rumblings in the locker-room if Rosen did start.

I think he has shown clearly he should start
Fitz is awful and extremely soft arm which is usually disastrous with a steady pass rush
 
Rosen played really well last night. Looked comfortable out there.
 
Ultimately Rosen has to play. He either is the guy or he’s not. Play him.
 
What really impressed me was his ability to elude the rush and run for multiple first downs. Looked great throwing on the run and wasn't afraid to absorb a hit while delivering the ball, either.

God, I hope we start him week 1. We really need to find out if he has the goods and we're better off finding out sooner rather than later.
 
I think Rosen has looked better, but against what? You can bet when the real bullets fly against the Ravens and Cheatriots, you won't see this vanilla BS that Rosen is seeing now. IMO he needs to not only see real game planned D but also see the aftermath with real coaching solutions instead of destroying his psyche in the first two weeks. Just sayin'...
 
Maybe they won’t start him until the OL resembles a unit to be able to evaluate him fairly
 
If anything else Rosen seems like the spark plug on the offense. In every game so far, when Rosen, entered the game, it feels like the offense kicks it up a notch. Rosen looks every bit of a top 10 pick and all the praise by Troy Aikman seems warranted.
 
While he has played better than RF, I would rather him sit until the bye to allow the OL to gel a little bit more. Especially if we pluck someone of the waiver wire coming up for the OL. Let RF take those hits
 
A lot watching the 2 of them throw last night you could see the difference in accuracy, if not velocity as well. Sure, Rosen was going against the 2’s and 3’s, but Fitz was just missing targets until the 3rd or 4th possession while the young gun was connecting on comparable throws.
I’d still say don’t start him before the bye. This offense with Fitz is going to look very uninspiring and I wouldn’t be shocked to see 0-4, but it’ll give the rest of the team a little time to gel and then maybe we can see what we have in Rosen without getting him killed.
