I have given this alot of thought, and we all love JT. For those of us that want to see him traded for a pick or picks, I agree with you. For those of us that want to see him stay, I understand. But, if JT retires, according to the Clumpster, we could save 10.2 million in cap space this year, and with that, we could sign a monster of a free agent, and get younger. Personally, I like the first and third senarios.

We've got plenty of cap room to work with and most of, if not all of the "big time" FAs are gone. JT is far more valuable to us this year playing football.

The real question is what jersey he will be wearing when he does.

I haven't thought that far ahead, but either getting a great pick, or a huge cap relief would be nice. It's about getting younger and building for the future now.

Would you guys stop talking about JT leaving? He's not going anywhere & I'm glad he's not! He's the best defensive player ever to put on a Miami Dolphins Uniform & that's saying a lot! He's one of the few bright spots left on this team. All this talk about cap space, what the hell would we do with this cap space? The free agent market this year sucked as more teams are keeping their players & getting better through the draft.

I really don't want to see Jason Taylor go for a 3rd and a 5th, that would just be stupid. If a team is really interested in him, I think Taylor could get a 2nd or late first. The guy still has 3-4 dominate years left, and is a proven player.
