Wow, 99.5 career sacks and he is still going. Usually when a guy reaches that many sacks he is a situational pass rusher at the age he is. But this guy is an every down run stopping/pass rushing best DE in football.

This guy is just so good i cant get over it.

If saban trades him for a 3rd round pick or some crap, I will officially boycot miami dolphins football. (well for about 30 mins lol)

He makes alot of tackels against the run for a guy who is too skinny and doesnt have run stopping abilities. I find it that when a guy is a perfect DE when he plays somebody wants to nitpick at him. I find even more so when he is a dolphin. Idk why but alot of analysis dont see how incredible JT and ZT actually are. They give Taylor more credit than Thomas but noweher near the credit Dwight Freeney gets for his one dimmensional game. And what a pass rusher this guy is, .5 sacks and 9 tackles. Thats like what Taylor averages a half, well .5 sacks.

I don't think Taylor's contract will allow a trade, but if he would, I bet they would get a late 1st round pick. Probably from a team like the Colts(who will be picking between 29-32) who is real close or trying to repeat as Super Bowl champs.

Taylor isn't getting traded. For that matter, neither is Ricky Williams. Where do people get the impression that *insert player here* is going to be traded at some point?

Trading Jason Taylor would be the stupidest move this team could make. He makes our defense run and without him it would be a lot worse.

I love Jason Taylor. I hate Ricky Williams.

That said, the year Ricky ran for 1,850 yards was the best single-season performance by a Miami Dolphin since Danny retired.

But, if you look at a career, JT is the best Dolphin since Marino.

Ricky...what a waste.

But I don't want to hijack this thread. JT should be productive for at least 3-5 years and we should keep him.

I've been reading a lot of your posts that past couple of days, and you've made it quite clear you have a passionate hate for Ricky. With that said, I really don't think I can blame you. I despise Ricky for what he has done to our franchise. The only thing I really can say is that he makes us a better football team and if that's the case, I'll accept any one who can do that.

Its been a slow week at work. I'm a spurned lover. I really did love Ricky. Had a jersey, a bobblehead, the whole deal. The man broke my heart. TWICE!!! I am sure if he returns to the team, he will do something to hurt me again. But I won't let him back into my heart.

Rant over.

I'm with you on that. I was as big of a Ricky supporter as there was. I literally didn't believe it when he retired. All I'm saying is that I'll take him back on the team because I know he makes us a better football team.

Ricky's actions hurt the team and alienated a lot of fans of his and the phins. I still admire the guy for being his own person and pointing out the hypocrasy of the NFL's drug policy. Ricky is a model citizen these days, lives a clean life, practices yoga, vegetarian diet, etc. There are a bunch of thugs playing every week who have and do commit far worse offenses than RW.
I look forward to having him back (so does NS) and eventually winning some damn games.

if ricky wasn't mental we could have made a case for him but as proven he is mental

I hope JT stays as productive as he has been so far for just a couple more years, that pretty much guarantees him a spot in the hall of fame. He's kind of quietly been one of the most dominant defenders in the league since his second or third year in the league. 100 sacks this week (hopefully) and he might get a little more recognition than he's accustomed to, the kind of publicity that might make the HOF voters aware of his accomplishment.

Thank you. Ricky isn't out at the clubs banging it up with his boyz from the hood, starting fights or stabbing people. The problem was "Do you smoke pot or make millions??". Is there even a question?
Thing is its easy for me to say that but if my account was loaded to the hilt you better believe I would have a lb. of the most stickiest, kindest, most chronic **** one could get!

JT and ZT are right up there as best players since Marino. Zach is slowing down a bit but is still among the top third in the league at his postion; he won't ever dominate like he used to but he is still effective.
JT, however, is playing his best football ever. I laugh at all those who suggest we should trade Taylor.
