Reading NFL.com, there is no chance the trifecta will re-sign JT for many reasons but one reason rubber stamps it:-

'The Redskins wanted to add a workout clause to Taylor's hefty contract, but the 34-year-old defensive end declined. The clause would have required Taylor to take part in 25 days of offseason workouts'.

'The Redskins, however, were willing to give him the full salary if he had agreed to the workout clause'.

If Taylor would not attend offseason workouts for $8.5 mil, no chance he will do it in miami or anywhere else for a significant pay cut.

BP must be looking in the mirror without having to ask the question........'mirror mirror on the wall, who is the wisest of them all'.:woot:

The Redskins cut him because the huge deals they gave Hall and Haynesworth put them in cap hell.

Maybe Jason thought that if he didnt agree he would have gotten released. He has said it since the beginning of the offseason that he wasnt happy there.

I think Parcells realizes that JT is more concerned with dancing than earning his way onto an NFL roster, attending offseason workouts and camps namely.

yeah I think the Redskins just used that as an out to cut him.

Family took precedence over the money.

With three children, Taylor, who has a home in the Miami area, opted not to agree to the workout provisions. The team was willing to keep his restructured salary at $8.5 million, but his desire to be with his family in the offseason was more important in his life.

EPIC FAIL!!!

enough with all this JT coming back to Miami, if anything he can sign a 1-day contract to retire and thats it...hes not coming back to play here, the JT and ZT days in Miami are OVER

Let's not go backward in Dolphins history...instead let us go forward....forward to building NEW stars....forward to becoming an elite team....forward to becoming perennial superbowl contenders....forward to becoming the next great NFL dynasty!
