Merriman, his closest competitor, already has 2 sacks in the first quarter. JT needs a great game in the national spotlight to lock in his much deserved DPOY award. I'd be pretty pissed if Merriman, who was suspended, won the award.

Your absolutely right. JT can't control how our offense has performed. Merriman shouldn't be rewarded simply because Tomlinson plays on the other side of the ball.

merriman won't get it, it sounds like the NFL is pretty pissed he made it to hawaii after juicing. i think the closest competition is going to be champ bailey. he has already picked off carson palmer, and denver is still in the playoff run.

i can see it already JT wins us the game on a big 4th down attempt by the jets with a little more than a minute left but JT just wrecks chad and breaks the heart!!!! Some Charger fans are in denial, saying he didn't take steroids. SO, WHY THE HECK DID HE GET SUSPENDED THEN? If he didn't take steroids, and the NFL knew this, I THINK that they would have taken away his suspension.

Ok why are people so hung up on merriman the guy has48 total tackles 12.5 sacks 1 int 4 pass def whats so great about that 12.5 sacks is nice but 48 tackles for a lb lololololol thats the weakest **** I have ever seen cbs have more tackles than that if you ask me he sould be a de and JT has more tackles than this guy I just dont see dpoty Jt has 12.5 sacks 8 pass def 53 total tackles 2 int 2 td thats a hell of a lot better end of story
