Since he was qouted saying he excelled under the LIAR's system, would JT still be as domiant as he was 2006 given he goes back to the 4-3 defense?

Well, since he's sucked every year he's played.......

I think 18.5 sacks is better than what he had this year.....

Good thing Nick came here...Otherwise JT wouldn't have had his 3rd best year overall.

Our base defense this year was still the 4-3. Taylor played "down" most of the time.

As long as he was moved around a lot like he was in Saban's system everything would be fine.

JT did a lot this season. He had 2 INTs for TDs and he had TEN (10) forced fumbles, thats rediculous. Tds are rare for defensive backs and for defensive linemen there are even more rare. I feel that the defense as a whole was better in 2002, such as the secondary allowing JT to get a lot of "coverage" sacks. I think he did it more on his own this season. Nonetheless JT is a HOF and he has proved it throughout his career.

The guy is a friggin superstar.

Saying Saban's "Scheme" was responsible is outlandish.

Wo wo wo wo...I wasnt trying to imply that Saban leaving will make JT suck. I was just implying JTs 2006 season was his most impressive overall as a NFL star. I think JT is just getting into his prime. His physical skills and his on filed intelligence are working at its highest levels.

I just felt that you were implying that JT's 2006 season was meh, compared to 2002.

Saban didn't have much to do with Taylors success other than giving him the freedom to roam free on Defense. I remember Saban saying on one of his shows Taylor had more success improvising during the games rather than doing what the coaches asked so eventually Saban just told him to do whatever his instinct told him.

You're reading too much into the stats. Overall, 2006 was by far JT's best season of his career. His overall game was far beyond anything we've seen from him in previous years.

Really?

Based on what fact....Stat...whichever...Not a scheme...Not a notion...Not an idea.....A FACT.

Until you show me 18.5 sacks I'm not interested.
