JT says Dolphins should do Hard Knocks

Just finished watching the JT interview ( http://www.miamidolphins.com/video - around the 8:20 minute mark) and he was saying that the Phins should do Hard Knocks. He said it helps build a good cohesiveness in the team and bring everyone together.

Personally I would LOVE to see Miami on there, but obviously it will never happen b/c of the Fort Knox type FO we have and I am sure there are many other teams HBO would rather have than Miami.

No, I'm sure it will come back next year though.

I do remember reading quite a few posts like that. I never bought it though IMO you guys are built for that kind of stage, we are not. Thats not a slam, your teams personality is a perfect fit for hard knocks IMO.

the jets do suck. winning doesn't change that.

I try to watch it every year, even last year on the Jets. It is very interesting to get the behind the scenes stuff of an NFL training camp.

Would love to see the Dolphins on it.

Parcells is gone and Hard Knox is exactly the kind of stuff owner Ross loves. I wouldn't write it off so quickly.

I could see Miami doing it but not w/ Sparano. Your next HC will be a splashy hire and I could definitely see Ross lobbying for Miami to be on the show.

Hard Knocks is not a show tailored just for "celebrity teams". They did it for Kansas City and Cincinnati before Dallas and the Jets.

I would love for the Dolphins to do Hard Knocks.

But wasn't KC the first team, back when most NFL teams were unsure about the show and they did Cincinnati after Cinci had a winning season and were supposed to be SB contenders.

It's TV and the #1 priority is ratings. Popular teams draw viewers, HBO want's the most popular team possible.

I'll say this - Hard knocks will be hard pressed to ever top the Jets year. I wanted to shoot my brand new plasma TV every time i watched it but Rex was a brilliant villain.
