Free agent Jason Taylor is expected to take the rest of the week to decide whether to sign with the Jets.
ESPN's Tim Graham, a former Dolphins beat writer, hears Taylor and his wife will stay in New York for the night. ESPN's Chris Mortensen adds that Taylor is currently having dinner with Jets coach Rex Ryan and GM Mike Tannenbaum. The Fins are unable to offer much money, but Taylor doesn't have many other suitors. A deal with New York seems likely, but when it'll happen is uncertain.
