We got two great rush the passer guys. How do they compare?

Who is the better pass rusher? How are they different?

Who is the better player? How do they differ?

Who do ya want teaching the young guys, and why?

JT is better, hands down. I love Porter and what he did for us last year, but JT is better. When they played together in 07 JT proved it. He has taken over games time and time again for the Fins, Porter is a beast and a Bad A** but JT is a better football player

Your reasoning is way off the mark!

"When they played together in 07 JT proved it".

Problem is that JT was playing his natural position which happens to be JPs also. JP played 07 out of position so your logic fails as no direct comparison can be made.:err:

JT will once again be out of position so to say.So JP could in all intents and purposes outperform JT this year.

But it all depends. I have full faith in our Front Office to beleive. They will be moving JT and JP all over the place rather then settling them down in 1 spot.

Hate to say it guys but JT is done... Look what he did in Washington last year... He's got nothing left.

Last year he had a very serious injury so to say he is done is a bit premature. He'll be used situationally saving wear and tear from the long season. Reminds of when many folks thought Trace Armstrong was done.

Additionally, Tannenbaum and Ryan didn't think he was done.

I just have a strong feeling that his best games are long behind him... For your teams sake I hope you're right... Why do you say Mike T and Ryan didn't think he was done?

JT is only 35 dont worry about the number u really think that 2 or 3 years more or less could make a gigantic difference? The Mind controls the body if JT is ready to play like if he is 22 and takes care of himself he can play better than freaking Peppers. In 2007 JT had 11 something Sacks. a year later in the Redskins he did horrible not becuase he was done, but because he was injured out of position and he barely had time to get adjusted. Now he's back 2 years older but hopefully with with that swagger he had in 2006 and 2007 and before that so I expect a great year for him and Cameron we got a hell of a line backing corps!!

After he was released by the Redskins it was reported that the Jets were interested in signing him; however, JT declined.

You're right his best days are behind him but we don't necessarily need him to be as big on every down as he was for us prior to trading him.

Overall for thier career Taylor was a much more complete player and a better player but at this point Porter seems to have more in the tank.
Not sure how good a teacher either player is since we really have not seen the results. I personally have alot more respect for Taylor as a player and person though.
