Judge our running game tonight, who would you keep

F

FLOUNDER

If this was the final preseason game tonight, which running backs would you keep?

I'd go for minor, harris, morris and maybe williams if he can get his butt into gear. and ofcourse, Ronald Brown

Konrad? :rofl3:

Sammy Morris was impressive, especially as a blocker. Kay-Jay looked pretty good too.

I thought so, wasnt sure, so i just ahead and put konrad..lol

based on what? the huge holes they ran through the 3rd string defense? when they can do the same to urlacher (or however you spell his name) i'll agree bui for now I have to laugh at that comment.

ricky made a few good blocks, but for the most part are running game was ****. good to see us finally play a game though!

hell fellas i am really impressed with kay-jay , and heath evans is that his name and jamar martin all did good . minor must go he did ok on st but nothing on offense. i would love to have ricky, ronnie , kay-jay, evans and morris. or fb martin.

Thats why i said

This is very hard to decide. Ronnie and Ricky are locks at the RB spot and Evans is a lock at FB. Now comes the hard part. I am actually becoming a big fan of Martin at FB, so I would like to see him stay. That would mean the final RB spot would be between Morris, Gordon, Minor and Harris. Well, you can scratch Minor and Harris of right away, so it is really just between Gordon and Morris. I wouldn't be suprised to see Saban keep 4 RBs just so both can make the team. However, I bet things heat up later in the preseason with Jacksonville for a trade for Gordon.

Ricky Williams will make the team, I think it's ridiculous that he's even brought up to not make it. I think that because a 3rd was paid for Gordon he'll be on the team, but I really think Sammy Morris is a better player. Kay Jay Harris is gone, Heath Evans possibly also, Jamar Martin was more impressive, IMO.

I to really like Martin that guys knows how to open hole. He really impressed me tonight.

Kay Jay Harris is gone

I will have to disagree with you on this one. Kay-Jay played for 3 minutes. Touched the ball 4 times i believe. and went for 20 yards along the left side and getting outa bounds to stop the clock. If he keeps it up, i dont see how they could cut him, plus the time he got to play was ridiclious. Look for him to play more the next 4 games...3 minutes isisnt enough time to show what you got people...

I don't know if Gordon has much trade value, I don't think any team would give up anything higher than a 5th for him, but considering how he has looked since he came over i'd probably take that.

Yes but if the coaches had more confidence in him don't you believe he'd get more PT. Perhaps being a West Virginia fan has blinded you into rooting for someone from West Virginia to make the team, rather than someone who can help the team.
