Debate away.
They're both two of the best receivers to come out since Calvin Johnson.... both absolute guaranteed, sure fire outstanding pros.
A.J. has more consistent hands, Julio is more physical and harder to tackle. Julio is a little more explosive.... Green is a little more consistent.
Both destroy the jam at the line of scrimmage. A.J. Green is a masterful route runner and puts both o's in the word "smooth". Julio is a physical freak, and one of the hardest working kids I've ever seen.
I like both of them substantially more than I did Dez Bryant.... Julio has Andre Johnson type physical tools and ability. A.J. has Randy Moss type talent without the 4.3 speed..
I see AJ Green as a Fitzgerald, not the fatest but the best at his craft.
Julio idk bout him, he's a beast, but not a polished player ala Calvin Johnson. Might take him awhile to come on.
He's more polished than Calvin Johnson was....
Watching him at Alabama, he didn't run alot of routes, especially compared to Green.
He was underused imo horribly at Alabama.
Yes he did... Julio learned how to play both receiver positions in McElwain's offense (X & Z).. they moved him around to make it harder for teams to double him...
Julio faced more double coverage than Calvin Johnson ever faced in Patrick Nix's offense at Georgia Tech... Reggie Ball couldn't get him the football anyway... defenses didn't worry about doubling Calvin...
Johnson still struggles with the little things and finer aspects of the position... the only thing Julio as ever struggled with is concentration... dropping easy passes because he didn't look the ball in.. thinking about making something happen before he secured the catch...
Whose gonna be a better pro Slimm??
Green or Jones, hell I'll throw Calvin in there as well.
Who you got?.
They're both going to be outstanding... I don't think the difference is even going to be relevant. Basically like the difference between Andre Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald is irrelevant...
Julio is going to have a better quarterback in Atlanta... I don't think Andy Dalton ever makes a franchise quarterback...
The only thing I'll go ahead and tell you is that your bead on Julio Jones is a little off....
