Just read that he will be difficult to keep this off-season as the Broncos also will be paying D Thomas as well.... Just wondering if he would be on our radar, and if we could realistically afford him?? Would be a great red zone and seam target for RT...

Franchise still counts against the cap, not sure they can afford it.

I know we need size but I would love to take a run at Maclin. Great receiver, and great at YAC. He would be deadly in this offense. Wallace, Landry and Maclin....wow!

We're too tight on the cap right now to be thinking of bringing in high priced free agents. I'm OK with Clay, Sims and Lynch next year anyway. Sims is 6'4", Lynch is 6'5"...even if they decide to let Clay walk we can keep Gator Hoskins and have our 3 TEs.

Julius Thomas is the type of TE we need but I just don't see paying him Jimmy Graham type money and killing our cap for one player when we can draft a big bodied WR who can have the same red zone effect for much cheaper.

weve got to start balancing our own cap and forgetting about the big buys

Clay, Odrick, Vernon and Tannehill aint gunna be cheap in the next few years

People want/expect Tannehill to be an elite QB in this league. Well look at what most elite QBs in this league have: Brady has Gronk, Brees has Graham, Manning has Thomas, Rivers has Gates. I'd MUCH rather have Julius Thomas than Mike Wallace and I'll bet RT would too.

If the Broncos let him walk? I call his agent immediately and tell Charles Clay "Thank you for your service, young man. Best of luck with your next team."

We had two separate drafts to draft a difference maker at TE but our old GM didn't value the position over offensive and defensive lineman. Not that he could have recognized it since he thought Michael Egnew was the answer.

Gimme Julius good lord gimme Julius. Clay won't be cheap? Says who? He's been absentee this year.
