If we do end up getting Julian Peterson during the offseason I think he will most likely play LOLB (Strong side), I think Channing Crowder will stay at the Weak Side, Zach Thomas will be our MLB, and Junior Seau will most likely retire. Or there's a possiblity we can fully convert to a 3-4, althought I am not sure how that would work out for JT. But if we did that with the personnel we have now (with Peterson and Seau retiring), it would look like:
LOLB:Julian Peterson
LILB: Zach Thomas
RILB: Channing Crowder
ROLB:Jason Taylor
If we fully converted to a 3-4 (which I highly doubt we would next season), I think that's how it would probably look. Not sure how that would work out for us, perhaps we'd may keep JT at DE even though he's a really undersized DE in the 3-4, I like him better as DE than OLB or OE, but perhaps we'd acquire another OLB through Free Agency or the draft. In my personal opinion though, I do doubt we'll get Peterson but I think it's a lot more likely that we get him over LaVar Arrington since Saban has coached Peterson before and said he had the most points even in that point system he goes by.
