i remember last year when evrybody was sayin "let sage start" when he was doin good in the scond half of a lot of preseason games in 2005. But freotte turned out to be the better player. Ex. Browns game where sage finally started and a lot of dolfans got there wish but what happened
Dolphins got pummeled 22-0.

im not tryin to put anyone down but for any of u who say harrington should start instead of all-pro culpepper think about the last time this was being said about sage rosenfels

I dont think Harrington should start. Harrington has looked impressive but he's not going to supplant daunte from his starting job.

I haven't seen but one person plainly say that Harrington should start. I see the point you are trying to make, but this is way different. Harrington is 10 times the QB Rosenfels is/was.

It sure is a lot nicer having those two guys to pick from then last year's two.
Kudos to Coach for stepping up that position!

Yeah ppl kinda have been going Harrington crazy. Culpepper will be the starting QB, But its nice to know we have a good back-up.

Can n e one of a better backup? Harrington has to be among the best backups

Don't totally diss Sage. His comeback vs. the Bills was amazing.

So was Damon Huards v.s. the Pats when Dan Marino went down too. Whats your point? He played 1 good game v.s. a bad team so we should tell the truth about him and say he was horrible?

CK has brought up these same points in the VIP and I totally agree with his line of thinking.

Joey Harrington:

52.1%, 5.23 Yards/Att, 80.7 QB rating

Against MOSTLY 2nd team players.

Daunte Culpepper:

73.3%, 7.2 Yards/Att, 93.5 QB rating

Against STARTERS and coming off a major injury.

Joey has lead more dirves to points but scoring in preseason is overrated. It is about evaluation.

Joey is what he is....a barely 50% passer who has a low Yards per attempt and has career rating in the mid 70's. He's doing nothing to prove different in my opinion.

Before I get bashed, I am glad he is in Miami and I hope he lights it up and we can flip him for a draft pick at some point. What I see is the same guy I've always seen...

Daunte is THE starter. No debate needed. Like they say though, the most popular guy on the team is the backup Q.B.

Well he played with the starters against starters last night and he looked pretty f'ing good. I'm starting to become a believer in the fresh start theory. Start over Daunte, ha that's funny, but I was glad when we picked him up and after watching Lemon last night I'm REALLY glad we drop a 6th rounder for him!!

You nailed it.

harrington shouldnt start.trust me cpep is better.harrington is a future starter when cpep finishes his career as a fin with a sb ring:wink:

but seriously cpep is the better QB.and everyone will find that out very soon

Harrington always shows well in preseason. It's the tale of 2 seasons. Preseason he is great, regular season he sucks. That being said, I hope he is as good or better than CPep if or when he has to come in this season. I like that he is playing well. Why not have 2 good QB's on the team?

Well you're one of the few, everything I'm seeing from the experts they are saying Joey looks nothing like he did when in Detroit, he's happy, comfortable, looks confident, making good decisions, none of the things you saw from him in Detroit. So somebody is wrong, I'm not gonna say who it is, but there are two different views on Joey's stay so far in Miami.
