Lots of great fights the last month or so. And plenty more to come!!

The Jeff Lacy fight on July 30 will be at the St. Pete Times Forum (formerly the Ice Palace) in downtown Tampa. I'm going to try and get to that one.

The promoter also promised to bring a Winky Wright fight to the SPTF as well!! :woot:

Im looking forward to the Gatti v Mayweather fight. Glad it is on HBO so I have a chance to watch it

I'm calling it right now, Jermain Taylor will beat Bernard Hopkins.

Maybe but I would'nt bet money against it.
Bernard is still one bad dude even at 39 or is it 40?

Female boxing is right up there with the WNBA imo.
Should be shown on tv after midnight when we are bed.

Im really looking forward to the Arturo Gatti VS Floyd Mayweather fight also. I hate how Mayweather runs his mouth so much but he is 1 of the best if not the best for his weight class. I hope Gatti wins but its going to be a battle:fire:

Say that to Lucia Rijkers face!:D

Thats one bad chick. She was the boxer who was in Million Dollar Baby.

Man I love both Gatti and Mayweather. I thought Gatti was done? Oh well hes a good boxer. Looking forward to that mayorga fight, hes got some punch.

Mayweather is going to teach Gatti a boxing clinic. Gatti is an ok fighter but way over hyped because of his three fights with Mickey Ward. Anytime Gatti ever stepped in the ring with anyone who had any type of class in the ring he was dusted. Same with Ward. Both of them are bums IMO. Gatti is hyped because he is white but look at his record, who has he beaten? No one. Anytime he's ever stepped in the ring with someone who can flat out box he's been taught a lesson. Gatti's whole selling pitch is that be takes a good beaten LMAO. Gatti's got a chance to shock the world (or at least me) by beating Mayweather in less then two weeks. I don't think he can and I don't think he deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as Mayweather Jr. Mayweather is all class, while Gatti is trash. This is a diamond versus piece of sidewalk. Gatti's a nobody!

My Dad's favorite fighter is Gatti. Ironic you mention this, we were just talking about this fight today.

Also, Gatti is going to beat the living **** out of that cry baby Mayweather. It's just that simple... And as for your comments. I wonder, do you watch Boxing? I have serious reservations that you do... Gatti is the toughest fighter in Boxing. As Gatti said "Mayweather is a little child in need of a spanking." Mayweather is going to get his *** beaten, and badly at that.

You called somebody else out on if they "ever watched boxing" and you went on to say that Gatti is going to beat up Mayweather.........

I find that incredibly ironic.

Hostile, your asking if I ever watch Boxing? The fact that I know Gatti isn't in Mayweather's class proves that I watch boxing. Go look at his career. Who has Gatti beaten and who has he beaten to justify being the 140 pound champ? The guy he fought for the WBC was some Italian dude who barely ever fought in the U.S. Gatti is a cupcake!

I see 3 consecutive fight of the years... You also forget he broke his hand and it still was raw when he faught 9which is why he has faught somewhat light since).

I can't believe what I'm reading... How can you even suggest a guy like Gatti isn't in Mayweathers class? Gatti is a tremondous fighter, with more heart then any Boxer currently fighting.

I would put money on Gatti... The one great thing about him is he knows how to fight. It's not the haymakers that win fights, but the body shots. Gatti can do it all. If there's one thing Mayweather hasn't faced, it's someone with pin point accuracy and heart.
