I'll be honest,I don't think I can realistically judge a Miami Dolphin QB anymore...what i mean is, after watching the great Dan Marino..I kind of compare all Miami QB's
to him,which isn't fair.
But after all these years of crappy QB's.....Fiedler,Feely,Cpep,Harrington,Beck, Henne and so on (good God ,what a list)all my eyes can see is desperate hope.
So I dont know if Tannehill can be good or is that just me HOPING he turns out good...because of the decade plus of crap.
I try not to see things though aqua glasses...but ,damn,I want a elite QB.

Anyone who votes for this team to tank rather than for the light to come on for Ryan Tannehill and for him to start consistently playing up to his level of ability (which IMO is very high), is an idiot.

Tanny has played really well, nobody expected him to be at the level he is now, we are missing some pieces but everything will be put together.. So Tanny is my man..

I gotta say .... death to gingers was temping. But since my future daughter-in-law and my grandson are both gingers, and some of the cutest damn people on the planet, then I guess I'll go with the biggest no-brainer in the history of the world.

I want Tanney to blossom and transform into the Elite QB he has the potential to become. Damn he needs work, and yes he's improved in some ways, but he has to be consistent. I want that from him ... hell yes!

Tannehill will NEVER Dominate, he is a system QB.

If we want the Dolphins to win with him as the QB, then the WHOLE team and especially the OC have to do MUCH better.

I would rather have a QB that is more of a game changer personally, but I think we can do much better with the team as it is right now.

No one mentions the 400 pound Gorilla in the room...

You have to be honest with yourselves, those post game locker room speeches are the worst I have ever seen &
I've been watching the NFL for over 30 years. Philbin needs more talent on the roster because he NEVER will be a
motivator like Pete Carrol, or Parcells or JJ. He is a coordinator at heart. He needs better players.

Billichek would take this exact same team to the playoffs every year if he was our coach

Yeah just like BB did with the Cleveland Browns? And Parcells ruined this franchise. Funny how the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence, but in reality it's the same sh*t.

There is no question this team has talented players. Evidence includes even the players we have watched leave this team and become stars/semi-stars for other teams. So who is to blame here? I don't throw the blame on the scouting department and the GM. If our drafts were so BAD, then how can you explain so many ex-Dolphins excelling elsewhere? However, there have been some questionable picks - dating back to Ronnie Brown (who 90% of the folks on this board actually tried to convince themselves and others was better than RW - Just had to add that) and even prior to that. It's seriously a question of coaching. If you get an obviously good athlete in the draft, he doesn't just coincidentally just become garbage because of the GM. The coaches are responsible for setting these players up for success by identifying their strengths and developing those strengths, then using those strengths come game day. I'm not foolish enough to say that our GM(s) have not missed. ALL GMs do. Missing on picks is not just a problem that has hit the Dolphins. It IS league wide. Even the guy so many people call a genius: Bellicheat. There are so many examples of missing out on good to great play by some of our guys who have moved on that is seriously disturbing. How can this blame be laid on the guys who scouted and drafted them and who do NOT coach them? All the blame can not fairly be laid at the GM's feet. That is not being fair and it's not looking at the entire picture. Not saying Ireland is the best GM by any stretch of the imagination, but the one great thing about coaches like Shula and Walsh was this: they knew HOW to put their players in the best position to succeed, based on those player's talents. Ironically, this ended up being Shula's downfall: giving to much lee-way to Olividatti, who made our defense a joke. He could not recover from that.

And I will not vote on this thread. Wow.
