i have a hunch that if we dont go after Rivers then we will trade down for Leinart if quinn is not there. i dont see us going after project qb's.

If I couldn't get Quinn to fall, I would offer SD our 1st and swap 3rds for Rivers. They already have our 6th for Lemon/Feeley. Maybe offer our 3rd in 2007 if thats what it takes. Still have to consider Carr if Houston lets him walk. Then we get a QB and keep the 1st.

I dont think Saban is real keen on giving up lots of picks for one player. I could see us signing a guy somwhere after the first round and bringing in a vet like Kitna while he learn.

thing is, mueller was bragging abotu how leinart has it all when u look for a qb/player during scouting.

he may be better but i doubt we are looking to pick up 2 qbs to start for us rather one to come in and start cuz i doubt he wnats to wait around anothe ryhear for our qb to groom and our d to die down more as he said, he isn't waiting to rebuild but rather win right away.

If true, not by much. It's not very practical. Gus is our veteran and we're getting younger. Gus is a year older than Kitna.

Are you saying that Quinn is going to be picked before Leinart? NO way that

ever happens. Lienart goes top 3 if not 1st overall. You say we wont pick up

any project Q.B.'s but the 3 guys you named are all projects. None of those

have proven anything at the NFL level.

If he is, it isn't by much. He's shown flashes, but he hasn't been able to show consistency for an entire season either. He's a career backup also. No thanks
