Even that seems difficult. The free agent Qb's of the last few years have been pretty weak. Guys like Warner, Garcia, Holcombe, Brunell, Dilfer have been shaky at best. One could make an arguement for Kerry Collins or Brian Griese, but even they have been inconsistent. Trent Green was a terrific FA but we all know that he would've been much worse under the Wannstedt regime.

Even Delhomme wasn't considered that great when he was picked up by CAR.

Except by New Orleans fans, who pretty much knew what they had in Delhomme. They just thought Brooks was better.
