i think it will be the saturday nite game in prime time. steelers have a huge national following (so does miami but not like pitt) and are good for ratings, theyll want them in prime time. it seems like pittsburgh always plays saturday on wild card weekend.

I sure hope you're right! I fly out that Sunday morning for Hawaii.. After all these years of waiting, I couldn't bear to miss a playoff game were in!! We booked when we were 1-4.. Never ever did I think we'd be in at that point.. obviously

j/k ... NONE of us saw this coming at that point. :chuckle:

I have a feeling it will be a Sunday game because Houston will be the other game and they usually play the first game on Saturday. They won't have both AFC games on Saturday.

houston will definitely be the early game but i think early sunday. if green bay gets in then thats the only team i could see getting saturday nite primetime over the steelers.

lets say these are the wild card matchuos

afc

miami at pittsburgh
kansas city/oakland at houston

nfc

green bay at detroit (or detroit at green bay)
ny giants at seattle

sunday i think would be easy. houston would be the early game, ny giants at seattle would be the late game.

saturday is a tossup. do they give green bay or pittsburgh the primetime game. i think pittsburgh is definitely playing saturday,

Well a day game didn't work out for us last time...

That said, I want a day game lol

Yes, the Steelers in prime time is an attractive draw. But keep in mind that the NFC has the Giants and likely the Packers. The Giants are definitely getting a prime time game and most likely the Packers if they get in.

Also, if the Falcons clinch a 1st round bye, then the Seahawks are also an attractive prime time draw.

Green Bay at Detroit is very unlikely. If the Packers lose, then the Redskins get in with a win; if the Redskins lose then the Bucs get in with a win.

if detroit wins tonite they clinch at least a wild card. then the division will be decided on sunday. if green bay wins then its detroit at green bay in the playoffs (i think)

i think detroit beats dallas tonite since dallas has literally nothing to play for, and i think green bay beats detrot on sunday.

edit: youre right though, green bay at detroit i dont think can happen, it can only be detroit at green bay.
