The tag just means you have to pay that player the average of the top 5 salaries, which is still less than what Asomugha would make in FA, because he'd become the #1 payed CB that way. In a way you have to pay the player more each year, cause the average slary goes up each year, but not that much.

So if the Raiders want him, i am positive he gets tagged again. And while the raiders are a horrible organization, they know what they have in Asomugha.
