Yesterday the Colts played the Titans and it took everything the mighty Colts could muster to win the game. I don't see a ton of threads here trashing the Colts for neraly losing the the Titans, but you'd think we played a pop warner team when we beat the Titans. My point is, we are just missing in every game. Whatever is wrong with this team it isn't much. We have been in every game this year.

We are not the worst team in the league or even close, I don't care what our record is. Every week we hear the same ol story about this team. But that's because they haven't figured it out yet. If we weren't moving the ball at all and giving up 30 pts a game I'd be upset, but we are ranked 2nd in total D with teams that have played five games and 5th in total D in the league. We pass for close to 250 yards a game every week, the only two things that are wrong with this team are run blocking and sacks.

After this past week we had one sack so that leaves just run blocking. We're close folks, and even though we may not make the playoffs this year it's Saban's second season and his second season with a crapload of changes to almost every aspect of this team. Please be patient and stop the crying.

re:

I live in Indiana, so I see the Colts on TV every week. I will say this: The Titans played a very good game, and the Colts did not. However, the Titans are not a good team, and the Colts are a good team. Not very good, just good. The Colts are not the team they have been. They aren't dominating, and are squeaking by, granted they are winning games. They have a pretty big weakness (Run D) and every team they've played has basically ran all over them. Which is good news for Ronnie Brown, just too bad he has to wait until the last game of the year to have the best game of his career.

Theres a big difference, when we played the Titans they had Kerry Collins at QB.

Vince Young wasnt exactly burning up the passing yards yesterday.....
i think he had something like 57 yards....

the 43 rushing and the td...yes...good...

but seriously...nothing impressive

Well following this logic we are way away from the super bowl, as the Bears just crushed buffalo, a team that has beat us once this season in our own house no less.
Comparing games like this is kinda silly imo.

The Colts seem to have one game a year where they stink it up at home against vastly inferior competition. Yesterday was that game.

that is what is great about sports in general, at any given time any team can beat any other team

Ya know what people, make all the excuses you want for the Colts or Bears or whatever team suits your needs, but this thread was just to let everyone that's crying over where this team is right now know, it's getting old. Try to understand where we are right now and deal with it. It's not going to change just because you're upset. Talk about the problems, try to figure them out, but just stop the hate. It serves no purpose. If you're not one of the ones crying, this thread isn't for you.

haven't seen you on Patsfans.com lately. I sure the gang would love to hear from you.:D

I've been a Dolphin fan since 1977 so I think I've been more than patient. So let me put this in my prospective. How sure are you that you will live to see the 2007 or 2009 or 2009 season? Because if you can guarantee you and I will be around I will be more than happy to wait and reap the rewards.

Any given Sunday. I believe the key to this team being succesful will be limiting the turnovers and penalties along with good balanced playcalling that will keep the opposing teams defenses on there toes. It is nice to see that our backup QB (Joey) is healthy and in good spirits, able to move and release the ball more efficiently. We will be doing better every week. I just hope that Saban sticks with Joey until Daunte is 100% this time no matter how bad Daunte wants to play. Just look at the Big Ben situation. The Chin should have started Batch until Ben got back to his normal form. I think Daunte has the same attitude towards playing that Ben has and they probably have been fooling themselves about how they have been feeling physically. Which is a little selfish but sometimes the heart gets in the way of sound decisions.
