Just a quick note...

Brett will agree with me on this I'm sure, but they would never jump on a message board and start arguing with fans. That would just not be good news across the board. It would be nothing but trouble for the most part. It would cause a media circus, because it's a fact that media members read this site. Negative media publicity is never a good thing. The only good that would come out of something like this would be if a forum were to break it down into an "Ask So-and-so"....

REgardless of what you think of Terrell Owens, his personal website has an "Ask T.O." section, where every couple of weeks he comes on and answers hand-picked certain questions. It's very well-run. Terrell never posts on the main discussion boards there, probably for the reasons I explained.

i wish i was around way back when, with all the time i spend on this site i dont know how i survived without it

Ditto, I've been on here in one form or another for a long long time. Used to post on the old Phinszone.

Not that you would probably care to let D-Mac know what we say Brett, but your client had a very good game out there and believe me when I say that I was scouring his play on tape.

Great run blocker, teamed up with Jeno James very well on double teams. He seemed to be responsible for Ellis Wyms more than Simeon Rice all night, but that was mainly on 3-step drops and on running plays. Why have Damion McIntosh block Simeon Rice on a running play when Randy McMichael will do nicely? Simeon is less than pedestrian against the run, and I suspect at least some of it was because he probably didn't feel like playing the run in preseason games. But you KNOW that Simeon wanted a sack when those deep drops came, and Damion did not let him have the sack. Great job for Damion.

Thanks for stopping by D-Mac, and Brett.

hopefully his is over the ankle problems hes had and he can give us stability at lt.

Weren't you all talking smack about D-Mac just the other week????

Naw, Just kidding.....D-Mac we're pulling for you, don't let us down.

I wonder how many of them ever feel the need to post? Heck, I know if I was related to a player, I would probably get banned while trying to defend them... Makes you wonder about some of the recent bannings...

Konrads father was a poster on here a few years back seemed like a nice enough guy but dissapeared rather quickly. Probably could'nt handle reading some of the garbage posted about his son on here.

actually with the exception of a certain group of us....there were QUITE a few people who were immediately upset that D-Mac was going to be starting on the left side bumping Carey back over to his more natual right side. Nobody, at the time, said anything that was totally rediculous but there were certainly some folks with "concerns".

While I didn't keep track of that exact group posters, that would be silly, I am wondering if any of them have been the ones "heaping the praise" on since Tressler said D-Mac reads the board from time to time.

Either way, the main issue most of us had with D-Mac was whether or not he was fully healed from his injury, at any time, during last season. As I'm also a person who follows the Chargers I knew what he was capable of doing and said at the time that something was wrong...you can go look it up if you wish....I'm just hoping that he's fully healed and can get after it game in and game out. If so, we won't have any worry about our LT position this season. He's not perfect but when he's on....he's good.

Sorry if this hurts his or Brett's or anyone else's feelings but I still say that with the incredible depth of talent at OT in next years draft, if one of the top QBs isn't there for us, then I expect us to draft one of the top LTs coming out.

I didn't realize Tessler was repping McInotsh. Cool. Well Brett. Damien looks like he will be the starting LT this year. Hope he does well and hope the injuries are a thing of the past.

BTW, how are the wonder safety twins of years past doing?

We met him at the Finheaven party a while back. He is just like you said, a real nice person.

This is all a result of the very hard work of finheavenaj and muck and all the others who help make this site what it is. I've been a member for 3 years and have watched it grow and blossom. It may offtopic in this thread, but, I have to say how proud I am of everyone who has made this site what it is and have spread the word about it the way they have. Great job, everyone! Hi - DMac!!
