What if we moved Jason Allen to receiver? He's big, he's fast, and he has great hands. We're sucking it up right now, so why not give it a shot? It could redeem a first round pick.
 
One of the gripes against Allen is that he can't catch the ball when he has a chance at interceptions...basically...he can't catch.

Are you thinking of Will Allen? Jason Allen led the team in INTs last year.
 
So...you want to move Ginn to DB and Allen to WR? :foundout:
 
At this point I wouldn't question anything that the organization pulled with roster changes and the flipping of depth chart. Move Jason Allen to receiver and stick Ted Ginn at corner. We need to see some kind of progression at each and every position on the field.

Why not?

At this point what can it hurt? We need to do something that we aren't doing right now. (I just hit my second wind and start brainstorming crazy things when that happens.)
 
I agree. At this point what exactly can we define as a failure after what we've seen the first two weeks. Yeah, this is a crazy idea but so what? I say that at this point we're in danger of suffering the same exact season that we suffered last year. Who knows when we will win our first game this season. I certainly don't want to wait around as long as we did last year for a win. I'm ready to win now and get it out of the way. Anyone truly realize how close we were to NOT winning a game last season? Seriously? I don't want to be there again this season.
 
i think allen is going to be fine hes been surrounded by garbage. He cant do it all , and the constant moving around is whats stunted his growth hius rookie year. Remeber all the lamentations and gnashing of teeth over saban moving allen from safety to cb then back as he felt like it.
