Do You Guys Remember When The Game Was On The Line In The 4 Qtr Against The Colts, And It Was 4th And 1 On About The 50 Yard Line And Miami Had The Balls To Fake The Run And Dan Marino Threw A Strike Deep All The Way Down To The 1 Yard Line And We Ende Up Winning The Game. I Just Wanted To Know If You Remember That

Yeah, I think it was 1998-9? Tony Martin caught the 50 yard bomb, and then Gadsden caught the high ball in the corner of the endzone for the go ahead score!

One of Dan's last great games over 300 yards! I recorded that game and then watched it over and over. Peyton was pretty young then, I think it was his 2nd season.

A couple of years on the trot we owned the Colts at the RCA.

Yeah, that was in 1999 Cecil Collins was our starting RB (now in jail). Yeah the Dolphins were losing 31-27 with 1:04 left in regulation and it was 4th and 10 own our own 49 yard line, Dan Marino in the shotgun with Gadsten split right. On the snap they sent a corner blitz, then with Gadsten seeing that he changed his route from a short route to a deep one with single coverage Dan hit him deep in stride at the 18 yard line and he ran to the 2 yard line.
2 plays later on an all out blitz by Indy Dan hit Gadsten for a TD on single coverage with 27 seconds left in the game.

I was at the game. I almost got thrown in jail with a drunken dolphin fan. The security was picking out people in dolphin gear. I was unfortunately in the street when Dano threw his touch to Gadsen. It was all good 'cause we went to Shula's Steakhouse afterwards. BTW Damon Huard made almost the exact same play the following year.

Yes. That game taught me the possible repurcussions of wearing a beer helmet while jumping up to cheer. A tracheotomy and a lot of pride later. I'm ok.

Assuming you mean Dan's last game against the Colts in their stadium where Dan played the perfect game. I will never forget that game with some calling for his retirement, including JJ who pushed him out. He was great in that game, when his shoulder was really healed. Its too bad the rest of Wanny's team faltered and it all fell on Dan's shoulders again. He got little help and it would have continued that way with Wanny at the helm. Sure wish he could have had Saban as coach. Just a few years too late.

You mean Smith at RB, I didn't think Cecil ever played other than preseason for us did he?
