I agree with my fellow Canadian Dol-phan....this season is pissing me off.

I don't have DirectTV ( I get Sunday Ticket through my cable company...$99.00 for the season ). I know DirectTV is showing the game BUT, my cable company has no freaking idea whether they are showing it or not. You'd figure since I have paid them over 100.00 a month since the dawn of time they would give me SOME semblence of customer service.

Week 1: Hide from the world....don't go on-line, watch TV or go anywhere I might see someone I know just so I can pretend the game is live on Sunday...

Week 2: Watch the worst offensive performance ever...

Week 3: Don't know whether the game will be on or not...off to the bar to sit with loud idiots, have the game with no commentary and have to pay $5.00 per beer...

W.T.F. is next?

Oh...by the way. Being in Vancouver and somewhat out of hurricane country I don't know the true danger BUT....W.T.F. is the difference between a 1:00 start and a 8:30 start?!?!?

What...the hurrucane does'nt destroy or hurt people at night?

I'm confused.:yell:

The path of the storm will have passed by the 8:30 kickoff. Direct Tv will show game if it is a Sunday game no matter what time, as long as it is Sunday. Miami herald among others have reported that.

7.5 hours could be the difference between playing the game during the hurricane and not playing during the hurricane. However, the big problem is that it's going to be hard for people to get to the stadium right after the hurricane.

well i have had my eye on the storm. it is already hit stwert fla there waiting for the eye to pass over and it's 1115pm miami is only getting 40 mil hour wind there fine. unless alot of people are coming down from that area the should have a good turn out

it doesn't really matter that the game has been moved to 8:30. If Miami is going to win, there going to win no matter what time the game is played. Whats the difference between 7 1/2 hours? A lot. This is a hurricane, not a snow storm or a flood. This is serious. I understand your pissed about all of the delays but its not the Dolphins fault these hurricanes have come. That was a pretty ignorant post. Wanna know the difference between how the weather will be 1 as opposed to 8. You stand in the hurricane from 1 - 4 and then stand out there from 8-11. Tell me which time is more suitable to play a football game in.

First time I've been called ignorant on this board.:D

Honestly it is a big difference.....I'm here in Orlando, and I'm still trying to figure out what time this ****ing hurricane is going to hit us....just cuz, it seems this ****er is here now cuz its pouring and 100mph winds here....but it probably isnt going to be here in like 6 hours, supposidly...so who knows....screw hurricane season...

It doesn't matter. when they say the game will be on DTV they mean through the Sunday Ticket package. It will be on the same Sunday Ticket channel it would have been on if they showed it at 1:00. (just like two weeks ago they showed it the next day on the same channel). DTV doesn't show football outside of Sunday Ticket, correct? (can someone confirm) except for the main CBS, Fox, ESPN channels, of course, but everybody gets those. So if you have Sunday ticket, the cable company will still show it, I assume.
