I am very happy like the rest of Miami fans and am going to soak up this victory and making it to the playoffs for a little bit. But I was just thinking about the game agains the Ravens Sunday and while the Ravens are one heck of a team, I wouldn't count out Miami winning, since the team is resillient and has found ways to win over and over through the season, which we haven't seen in a long time, so I wouldn't doubt them from doing that Sunday. But anway, I was just thinking that IF Miami beat the Ravens Sunday, I couldn't see how Miami could not go deep in the playoffs, because in my view, even though the Ravens are the 6 seed, I believe that are actually just as formidable as Indy, Tenesse or Pittsburgh, even though it's a home game for Miami and the Steelers have beaten the Ravens. The reason I say this, is because the Ravens seem to be the most balanced team, excluding the rookie. The Colts have been on a hot streak, but the Colts defense can be gashed and are, the Chargers are the same, but probably not as good as the Colts, which we will find out. The Titans have a strong defense and great running game, but I'm not sure about their passing game.

The Steelers are the other team like the Ravens, but Ben has been accident prone at times and their offensive line has not protected him well and he holds on to the ball a long time sometimes, which is good for a pass rush team like Miami, wheas, the Ravens seem to have been protected their qb better or having a better pass protection. The Ravens unlike in the past have an offense that is finallly showing up with the defense, therefore, like I said seem to be the most balanced team in the AFC playoffs, offensively and defensively. Then, you also have to add Ben's concussion and how he will play after tha

t. The ravens have a very good ground game and running back in Mclain, so if Miami slows it down, I couldn't see why Miami couldn't against the Titans. What I'm saying is, if Miami beats the Ravens I couldn;'t see why Miami couldn't beat the Steelers and so on, whereas, I wouldn't be as sure if Miami played the Chargers in the playoffs, obviously that's impossible, and beat them. I'm not expecting anything or looking for them to go further, I'm just saying that the best challenger or hardest challenge just might be the Ravens right here this game for Miami if they were to win, as like I said, I think the Ravens are just as good as the two teams with the byes. Sorry about the long post, lol.

Point well taken, and I agree with you. Beat the Ravens and we could go pretty far. Flacco pisses me off - I get Ryan's success but Flacco's just riding on the coattails of a SuperBowl defense. And if he is good, it pisses me off Cameron f-ed up his QB pick with us (Beck) but then gets a good one for the Ravens. God I want us to put that rookie on his azz over and over next weekend (and if someone wants to bodyslam Cameron while we're at it, who am I to stop them?).

They'll be tough though - I just don't wanna get blown out like we have in our last few playoff appearances, Danny's last one being particularly painful.

The Titans are the "good" team I'm least afraid of. Steelers would be damn tough at Heinz Field.

Steelers are pretty inept on offense though. Tough place to play, but their offense sucks. Their D is pretty solid though.

Yeah, that only would make me further confident about Miami's chances of doing damage in the playoffs and winning against Pittsburgh if they beat the Ravens, because even though Flacco is a rookie, the Ravens have a better offense or one that is more of a threat in my opinion to put points on the board than the Steelers and if Miami can handle the Ravens defense, and wins against that defense, I couldn't see how they couldn't win agains the Steelers defense, since the Ravens defense is just as tough of if we were to compare and rank the defenses, the Steelers would be 1A and the Ravens 1B, therefore, the Ravens possibly only a hair below the Steelers, but just about as stout as the Steelers.

So the Ravens would be a great confidence booster and Warm up for the Steelers should Miami win and perhaps a good blue print on how to beat the Steelers since the Ravens and Steelers do have a similar style. And the Steelers are the team Miami would face if they beat the Ravens Sunday, since Miam is the third seed and the highest seed plays the second seed, which is the Steelers.

Flacco pisses me off - I get Ryan's success but Flacco's just riding on the coattails of a SuperBowl defense.

I disagree with this entirely. Flacco has demonstrated an ability to make things happen on his own.
