please for the love of god just cut cog and martin. martin has always and will always be soft, and its just a matter of time before cog gets suspended by the league anyway. cog in a decent run blocker but sucks at pass pro and martin is well soft. garner is no slouch. is he great no but he has come in and played well before and played well Thursday. we all know clabo is horrible in pass pro, but as long has we continue to run and not throw it 50 times we should be ok. after cog was injured the line played ok Thursday. we will have to get better in the offseason, which was the plan anyways. but we all know that its all wishful thinking. its a lose lose situation. we cut them and everyone will be pissed bc martin was mistreated. we keep them and we are stuck in this damn soap opera.

I agree, but he is a back up at best. and right now a distraction. there are many other ways he could of handled this

I mean I'm sure we will eventually get the meat and potatoes of this story . . . but if this is something Philbin & Ireland let get out of control, those 2 and Ritchie can both take a hike and Jonathan Martin should be allowed every right to come back and compete for a spot on the team. I find it hard to believe this went unnoticed by the coach/GM. It's truly unacceptable behavior if what is being reported is true.

I just read a blog that said many Dolphin players are going broke living the Miami "lifestyle." The older vets are asking the rookies and younger players to pay for the clubs on South Beach, Vegas trips, $30, 000 team dinners, etc. Hope that is not the case. I really don't know what to think anymore??? Is this THE U or the Miami Dolphins?

I agree that I don't give a **** about Jon Martin, the subpar tackle and whether or not he's out on the field doing a crappy job for the team, but the fact is that if all of the allegations about Incognito were true, you can't cut him. That would not only totally destroy the team's credibility, he would have a legit grievance.

Philbin/Ireland cut/did not resign every potential leader on this team and placed a guy like Ritchie Incognito as a team leader. They look just as bad as Incognito in my eyes (again assuming whats being reported has validity).
