Just Finished Watching Jets Game And I Am Truely Afraid...

After watching the jets on Preseason Live we have to face the facts that this jet team could easily be in the running for Barkley. With TS leading the offense and Sanchez under center being under constant pressure from the Tebow disaster, that team might not win a game. That team is a mess.

I think we need to make an effort to go up to ganggreen.com and the other jet sites and join in the nyjunc bandwagon telling them how great Sanchez is. Pretend to be a jet fan and just copy all the mindless crap that junc says about how Sanchez is the saviour. Because if they ever see what the rest of the country sees then they will ship him out and get a real QB and they will have a chance to once again become relevant. The longer they can stay blinded the better it is for the rest of us.

From now on when Junc comes up here and starts talking about how great Sanchez is, just agree and tell him how envious we all are. Tell him how we heard a few Pats fans saying just the other day how they would rather have Sanchez than Brady. Tell him you would love to trade Tannehill and two first round draft picks just to have the great Sanchez TALK to our QBs. You don't have to sell it TOO good, he is a jet fan after all so tricking him shouldn't be too difficult. :chuckle:
 
one week of preseason. a little early to judge their whole season, no?
 
I'll get the ball rolling, by saying the 4/6 for 21 yards that Sanchez put up is very misleading. He had the sun in his eyes... or if the WR on the 4 passes that he did complete would have just broke it for a 63 yard TD every time, like Brown did for Andrew Luck, Sanchez would have been 4/6 for 252 yards. :idk:

you sir are a little behind. We could have made this judgement the day we heard TS was the OC and they were bringing in Tebow to help run the wildcat. All the first preseason game did was show us all the obvious was the obvious.
 
Jets offense is gonna be awful this year. I made a ton of $$$ last year taking the under in wins for the season and I rarely if ever bet football. I think Vegas has them at 8.5 this year so I'm inclined to take the under again but it's close. Their defense will always be good under Ryan and so will their special teams. I wouldn't be surprised if they win anywhere from 6-9 games next year. Actually I'll be a little surprised if they win 9. They just gave Sanchez an extension so he's there after next season even if he ish's the bed
 
Problem is: What fans on a message board say has no impact on NFL teams.


That being said ... Far be it from me to dissuade anyone from trolling Junc on a Jets mb. :lol:
 
Have a ball at gang green. Just be sure to use some sanitizer upon leaving...

Disagree. Fans on message boards influence a lot. They influence all the fans who read it, they influence the beat writers and radio hosts down here in Miami (yes they read sites like these and even post here anonymously)..... these things can sway fan opinion, which in turn, if enough fans believe the same thing, it becomes known to the Dolphins FO and suddenly they become worried about ticket sales.

Now, I'm not saying the OP's plan would work at all. It won't work. I was just pointing out that I disagree and I believe fans on message boards can actually change things.

You've been around here long enough to know what I mean. :lol:
 
Different franchises are affected more than others, but the big apple area obeys everything the media puts out. The media's perception is more important up there than anything else. Getting the messages boards to talk positive about a player is just one part but it would have an effect, a small effect, but definitely an effect.

This is the type of post that makes us look like we have no clue about football. As a phin fan I am embarrassed.

Can we focus on ourselves and and at least not be tied for last place in the division, before we predict a rivals upcoming season. we have major concerns for this upcoming year like;

New coach- By the way was our third choice
New cordinators
New defensive scheem/No defensive leadership
New QB
Lost our only WR weapon
Weak fan base that gives New England & New York easy away games every year
