Hey all. I just got back from the game. It was a blast. I sat on the visitor's side eight rows up. Great game. I have some awesome pics that I will put up soon enough too. For now, a couple of quick notes:

-I have never been to a Dolphins game where they have lost. So, if any of you want to see Miami go undefeated, just pitch in for airfare and season tickets and we can get this done.

-Miami does something interesting with their injured players. Every time someone was injured, Miami had another player walk them off the sidelines. I don't know if that is standard or what but it was interesting. When Hadnot was hurt, Holliday helped him off the field. When Rogers got hurt to open the game, Glenn walked him off the field. The only guy I saw not get that treatment was Taylor but he kind of took himself out. Plus, he was greeted by McMichael before the trainers ever got to him. I like the practice.

-Speaking of McMichael, the only time he reviewed the play printouts was on the drive he got the TD.

-Also, after every single offensive series, good or bad, Hudson Houck was tutoring the line. Good or bad, they all seemed to be paying attention. Speaking of which. Our good friend Damien McIntosh gave me a head nod when I called out to him. That was kind of cool. :D

-Sam Madison is the KING of talking trash. Shortly after the third quarter started, he was stretching on the side while some Raider fan jawed with him. Instead of ignoring them, he decided to get right in their face and jaw jack with them too. I didn't know what to think about it because on one hand, he should be paying attention to the game, but on the other, they are Raider fans.

-Speaking of Raider fans, they proved my point again today. When Tommy Kelly went down with an injury, one of the fans sitting by me asked who it was. When I told him he looked at me and said, "who?" I told him he wasn't anyone important...just a starter. Jeez people, don't go to the games if you don't know your players! You shouldn't have to ask rival fans who your own players are.

-My Bro in law was talking trash to Vonnie Holliday who only went out and got three sacks and after the second one, came back and looked at him and smiled.

-Ronnie Brown was talking some trash too. A Raider fan kept calling him a Honda ( obviously trying to belittle him in comparison to Carnell Williams ). Ronnie merely smiled and told him that Hondas run forever. The guy kept on ihm and called him a Daihatsu instead. Ronnie then turned his attention to the scoredboad, squinted, looked back at the guy and asked him what the score was. When the guy shut up, Ronnie told him he could go home now. It was hilarious.

-Nick Saban walks like 15 miles on the sidelines. We paced to and fro most of the game. When Gus threw that INT in the endzone, Saban was the first to tell him it was alright and proceeded to go to every offensive player and tell them the same thing.

-The Raiders helped us by not picking up the mismatches. Reggie Howard was on Randy Moss multiple times, yet, they only threw to him three times. Howard sucks and needs to go. Each time he came into th game, it seemed like he was getting pulled out and talked to three plays later.

-Madison should have had his first int of the year but questionable calls bailed the Raiders out many times. I used to believe the Raiders conspiracy until today. 3rd and 29 on an uncatchable ball to Porter and we get flagged for P.I. AFTER Jeryr gets up, walks over to the ref and asks him to throw a flag. Honestly, both punt units were heading to the field. That was how long it took to call the penalty.

-Welker was awesome today, as was Donnie Jones who booted the ball good all day and pinned them inside their five twice. It was his best day as a pro in my opinion.

-Booker got hurt early and did not return. Oh well, Gilmore seemed to do an ok job and Chambers and Randy only dropped maybe two passes between them.

-Overall, I thought it was a good balance of run and pass and was probably our best performance offensivley in a long time. Four TD's on offense is awesome for us. The defense had a few hiccups but they forced turnovers and got sacks and in the end, didn't cave.

-Pictures will be up soon. If anyone else went to the game, feel free to add your experiences as well. If anyone has any questions let me know as well.

GO DOLPHINS!

Thats my doggs right there!:hi5:

Nice post.

I heard so many on here warning guys NOT to wear Dolphin gear to the game in Oakland because they would be killed. During the game I actually saw quite a few fans wearing Dolphin gear.

Seems to me to the violence levels towards opposing fans is a little exagerrated.

My question is did you wear any Dolphins gear and seeing as I saw a good number of Dolphins jerseys in the crowd, is it really as dangerous in that stadium as some say it is?

When i went to the Finz, Raiders game i think in '94 ;i got peanuts and beer thrown at me. Some of the fans even tried to throw some at Dan!!!!

I went to a game in Oakland in 1996 with Phins gear on. The fans being "murderers" is exaggerated. They're stupid and annoying though.
