I can't believe it is actually hotter here in NY than it was at camp!. The weather for camp was the best it has been for us than it has been in the last 7 years. I saw so much over the last few days that it will take awhile for me to try and get it all down. ANYONE who has ANY question about ANYTHING from camp please feel free to ask me anything and I will answer to the best of my ability.
On a quick note we ran into Kevin Carter one night leaving a Walgreens right across from the Nova campus. I really hated to bother him but I shook his hand and told him what a pleasure it was to watch him play last year and my brother and his son wished him well this year and best of luck. A really nice guy who is absolutly HUGE..scary HUGE.

Damn thats cool. Type out every detail of camp please? :)

Great story and I'm glad you had a safe trip. Did anything stand out to you more than anything else concerning the team?

Nice one. Ive got loads of questions to be honest. Ive been away on my holidays (vacation) for 2 weeks so ive missed the start of training camp regarding reports.I would like to ask who was playing OLB the most and were we playing 3-4 alot and regarding JT in the 3-4.

I promise to type out as much detail as I can when I get the chance. I have not seen my 2 boys (ages 6 and 3) for the past 4 days so I have alot of catching up to do!

As for the OLB position..from what I have seen Spragan is our starter right now with Hodge and Newman getting alot of snaps also. As to our LBS..anyone who has attended camp so far can attest that the one main difference with them so far is thier size. You can see right off the bat that Saban wants bigger LBS and he sure got them Newman and Hodge are big...it is almost funny watching Zach in the middle of them.As for Jason Taylor, they had him at both his DE position and as a rush LB also. I can also attest to the fact that we seem to be blitzing alot on passing plays..something I believe can be attributed to Dom Capers hovering over all aspects of the defense.

I asked my brother the same question when we were sitting there. Not neccasarily who played the best but who stood out during the past few days. MY list had Derek Hagan, Kevin Vickerson, keith henreich(man you have to see the size of out TEs on the roster this year)Frank Murphy, Kelly Campbell. These guys just seemed to stand out on plays that I was watching. With drills and plays being run on all diff fields you have to pick and choose what to watch.

How did Culpepper look?
Daunte looks like he is taking control of this team and establishing himself as a leader. He still has a little hitch is his gallop..especially on the rollouts but is light years ahead of where most had projected him at this point. He is still working out the rust(hasn't really played in almost a year) and his timing and accuracy are off a bit. I am not worried in the least with his best practice coming IMO on Tues afternoon where he seemed to be clicking on some long passes.

You laugh...I sweated more walking to the car at JFK than I did in 4 days at Dolphin camp. Not a drop of rain fell from Sun till wed in Davie.

Thanks NYPhinFan. Its great that we have in my opinion one of the best if not THE best Coaching staff in the NFL this season. I still think its a shame we didnt get Arrington because he would have been a good fit to Sabans system and liking for size at OLB. Its nice to know we have depth at OLB, granted we dont have a standout OLB but Spragan may step it up and we have solid depth.

sounds like you had a great time.
I will say this to any Dolphin fan...if you have NEVER been to camp...its a must..you will get goose pimples hearing Saban chew a DB out and hear Daunte curse from just missing on a pass.
