This video shows the OL specifically, how Vernon Carey played the other night. In addition their is a replay of Henne's first interception. I know there has been some debate as to whether the ball was thrown behind Fasano or not. That clip is at :28 into the video. Also when you watch this, take note of the defender to the outside of Fasano playing between himself and Clay who is at the boundary. I think if Henne leads Fasano it going to be trouble in some fashion as the defender is just waiting for that ball to be thrown to the outside.

henne put it were it should of been imo. you dont lead your te in that situation. if he would of lead him and fasano got blew up, everyone would make a fuss about that

We desperately need Vernon to learn how to run block as a guard effectively, and fast.

Ball hit Fasano dead in his hands....all that 180 turn crap is hogwash....the ball should have been caught. It doesn't take a super athletic guy to make that catch.

Carey looks super slow.....we're gonna get killed by the backside defensive lineman all year if he doesn't get off the ball faster.

ehh...i've already analyzed that fasano play to death...and kc browns right if carey doesn't fire off the ball better than he did in the preseason opener that backside dt is gonna kill our run game to the left side

He should have led him. There was no one directly in front of him. The defender that was going to lay a hit was 2-3 yards downfield. He should have led him toward the sideline. Still Fasano's fault, but definitely not a perfect throw.

This is PROFESSIONAL football, you catch the ball if it hits you in the hands. This isn't CFL or the arena league.

Now, if you're just on the roster as a tight end to block, you'd better be able to block too. At present, Fasano can do neither...

Of course it was Fasano's fault, anyone who has EVER played the game should agree that when a ball hits you in the mo'#*$%#@' hands you catch it. No excuses.

Vernon's run blocking looked suspect. I don't see him ever pulling. I don't think I agree with this move.

Funny how just because he dropped it it's a bad pass to people.. yet Davone had to extend fully to make a one handed catch and no one talks about it because he made the catch..

Fasano wasn't running an out route, it was a outside curl against zone defense. Henne put the ball exactly where it should have been, with fasano between the ball and the outside defender. Fasano let the ball get into his body and gave the ball away to the defense. Case closed.

It was the Grimes int that concerned me the most. Terrible read, followed by an even worse throw. Those are the plays that Henne has to eliminate from his game.
