Now i am not for bringing Penny here. I heard on espn last night that Penny has 1 record that Brett doesnt and thats highest completion percentage in the NFL.

Good to know. if they bring him in it certainly isnt for the long term anyway so i am OK with that. Little nervous about throwing Henne in there to early but Parcells knows a lot more about football than any of us on the board so we will have to trust his judgement for now. Don't really have a choice now do we??

BRING IN PENNY!! WHY WOULDN'T YOU WANT TO WITH A %age LIKE THAT?

Yeah that high completion % record won't matter if our receivers keep dropping balls.

Randy Moss says Pennington throws the most catchable ball of any QB he has played with, maybe that helps our WR's with drops.

High percentage because all he can throw are 5 yard patterns.

where does all this "HE CAN ONLY THROW FOR 5 YDS" crap
come from? i see this all over the message boards and that
is as goofy as it gets!!!!!

PENNINGTON has NO PROBLEM throwing all those long bombs to
randy moss at marshall.

PENNINGTON had no problem throwing bombs to wayne crebet or
lavernious coles.

PENNINGTON torched EVERY db the miami dolphins EVER lined up
against him, including pat surtain and sam maddison!!

LAST YEAR he had the arm injury. just as elway early in his career and
many others had. he suffered some last year but STILL kept clements
out of the "starting" role even with the injury nagging him!

this year, the jets reports were HE SHOWED NO SIGNS of any problems
with the arm and was having a GREAT camp, making ALL the throws.

he was STILL the starter. clements STILL was the back up!

so, throw in all that info with his CAREER NUMBERS in accuracy and
i dont see all this "noodle arm" garbage.
